In the scenes surrounding Mibu and Tatsuya's conversation it feels like sometimes the wording doesn't translate that well in English. Like when she asked him if he was a "bully" that was meant as in if he enjoys teasing people, like in the friendly fun way, not in the trying to make someones life a living hell way. Same with the "verbal abuse" in English it feels like it's meant in the direction of insulting her, but the wording in Japanese was insinuating "teasing, talking dirty, or verbally humiliating someone" often used in the context of adult or intimate situations. That's why Tatsuya called it vulgar and why the reaction of Mibu blushing and looking embarrassed fit.
