It has been a long time, but if I remember correctly, in the manga, they both were naked while in Purgatory since clothing from the human world would not survive for all this time.

I freaking love seven deadly sins so much, all of my gamer tags and stuff is inspired from it, and the main reason I love it so much is the depth of love you can feel the characters have in this show. Ban willing to suffer for centuries in order to be able to save his friend really hit me in the feels 🥹
