I personally stopped watching after szn 2, everyone says the anime is scuffed compared to the manga which I believe to be true, but the way the first two seasons got wrapped up left a unique impression on me.

manga readers annoy the shit outta me and im a manga reader myself. all they do is whine about small differences and details that anime clearly cant spend time on for budget reasons

Just be aware, that nothing except the final battle in season 2 is canonical to the story, and even that they modified - they skipped almost half of the manga, after all, with a lot of character progression and development. Admiteddly, it has some nice action, but that's about it compared to the manga. Hell, they even skip all over in those episodes.

Nah season 2 is cool, season 3 is all over the place but in my opinion if you go that far watch all of it

Season 2 of Tokyo ghoul is fine. Season 3, “Tokyo Ghoul:Re” is where things get kinda iffy usually. 2 is fine though

Season 2 is good it’s just confusing on how they did it specially the last like 6 episodes are really good but i definitely understand people not liking it they completely told it backwards almost really annoying
