One thing I cannot take back from season 2 are the fight - they always end up great. And yeah, Kaneki joining Aogiri tree is the filler part - never happened in the manga. Initially it was an idea proposed by author himself when studio wanted to go filler route, he went on and wrote a whole new script. As far as I know, studio took just some scraps from it and didn't used much of it.

Hi Neel, You don’t need to read this if your only watching anime, because I don’t want to ruin that experience. But this is where the story differs from the manga. Kaneki joining Aogiri is not in the original manga, instead he creates his own faction. ( which he brings a few poeple from our anteiku crew, not touka.) Your theory about kaneki joining Aogiri is definitely what I think the studio had in mind for the anime. If you like the animation it stays very consistent through both seasons 2 & 3!! I hope this helps, and I hope you get your car fixed with no further issues!!
