Neel just so you know the Pokémon films do run concurrent to the series' but as side stories mostly. Still there are better times to watch these than others. The preferred method used by many is to watch a film after the latest episode that aired in Japan before the films theatrical release. In the games pokemon center is to Revitalize(heal) after a battle, HP back to full. In the anime. Is not necessary you have to go a pokemon center. You can let them rest in the pokemon ball or out of the pokemon ball. I think it faster to use a pokemon center to heal your pokemon.
