Yeah, Kikoru Shinomiya (the girl) is just cheating the exam. Even before the exam started, she already owned and wore the kaiju suit. She has been training since she was a child while the others might be wearing the suit for their first time. She said her hobby was killing kaiju, so she has been going around killing kaiju as if it was a game. With a exam to test the suit and using it to kill kaiju, she is too OP for this exam. Just like she said at the beginning of the episode that "the exam is just a formality", so she is guaranteed to pass.
