Yeah you are right, the eye that suddenly appeared behind Shalltear and scared her was Aura using the same "breath" skill she used to scare Hamusuke into AInz direction. She noticed Ainz hesitated to kill Shalltear, which would have been a fatal mistake so she distracted Shalltear for a split second to give Ainz the time to activate Fallen Down. BTW Nigun and the Sunlit Scripture are the goons Ainz decimated and captured right at the start, the ones with the angel summons.
