Yeah also would like it that way I think but If he would say it, it would destroy his naive character trade and stand against his whole personality. So it also would be weird.

Tbh i always hated this episode .. this goody two shoes behavior is just annoying. Even if bad things happened to her why does that automatically mean the MC has to accept every betrayel and unfair play. Instead of shielding her, she should face the consequences of her actions and work it out.
