Dev Update (01/01/2026)

First of all happy new year to everybody!
Today, I had another longer playtest with all the new maps and I realized that I never actually shared screenshots of the game-ready School map, just only few WIP ones quite long time ago.
So here's few random screenshots of this playtest and the School map that will be next to the Village in early access, connected to the Highway map and where you will meet the Doctor trader.
Then when it comes to another development topics, I'm currently starting to blockout the rest remaining maps for the early access and also adding new items as frequently as possible since that's one of the "painpoints" currently where the loot pool needs to be increased quite a bit to provide enough variety.
At the same time, I'm also doing some finishing touches for the early access trailer but I'm still waiting for some Steam support responses related to the topic that I talked about in the Early Access Info post, which was related to this backend app transfer thing that needs to happen first.
I will be doing more playtests this week and continue this playtesting process probably every week from this point forward since I learned a valuable lesson with the Final Demo that you should start playtesting as early as possible since it's surprisingly time consuming process for a solo developer and especially when now there's so many new maps to be tested.

Abandoned school... It's kinda necessary element in the games like this

There are so many primary school buildings from 40s and 50s that look exactly like that. It makes this map extra menacing to us Finns. Wondering if there are any cigarette packs still hidden in the toilets.
