Shooting expired 35mm film

I stumbled across my old Canon Sure Shot last year and then found an old box of photos my Dad had given me. Tucked away in there were quite a few boxes of Kodak Gold 100 and 200 film rolls, all long since expired. Thought I’d put them to the test.
Ended up having them all developed by The Dark Room, who did a great job (and relatively cheap).
I’ll post more random pics in chat to show some of the differences in the film. I love how most turned out. The chemical breakdown in the film just further enhanced certain aspects in my opinion, and no film filters can touch the real thing. These pictures have character ❤️
So look forward to some Silicon Siren specific pictures in the future. I’ve already started buying more expired film to have fun with 😉

Thanks Aaron! 😊

That’s amazing! I would’ve loved that. I did get to develop 3 rolls in a school lab at least.

Used to have my own darkrooom as a kid, and developed 100's of rolls of film and prints ... it was a very cool hobby back in the day.
