State of the Remaster
🕑 Added 2022-05-11 15:38:12 +0000 UTCHello, and welcome to the public update. As a lot of people have been finding the game recently, some of you may not have read all that far back, so to quickly recap on what's going on...
Missy is undergoing a significant upgrade, from the old RPG Maker VX Ace you've been playing it on up to now to the much newer RPG Maker MZ. When it is finished, the game will be re-released as update 0.5, complete with the new Chapter 4 and a number of new events. (I'm particularly proud of the next history lesson, I personally think it's the funniest one yet.)
All the images are being re-rendered at a larger size, and in many cases drastically improved to reflect advances in my abilities with the 3D software. This is a big job, but I'm making steady progress through it. Let's take a look at that progress now!
Lady Flower estate is redone. You can see how much bigger and cleaner the graphics look, including the cute new character sprites, which are also much bigger and bolder. Maps that are done have also been fully re-coded. So how far along is this process?

I know that makes it look like I'm only 1/3 of the way there, but remember the school is the biggest area in the game in terms of the work it took. There's masses of conversations and events that trigger there. It took a few weeks. Lady Flower took a day or so. I'm over halfway to this goal now.
The next thing is the sprites. Every single one needs to be re-done as they're all bigger and need to be moved onto the new art style. Above, you can see that Emily's sprite, still the old size looks very small on that big map!
If you've played Christmas Eva MZ, you have already seen the new sprites for Missy, Abbie, Lola, Mary, Jessica, Stacey and Miss Paris. They're adorable, so if you haven't yet, give it a look. Next week, I will showcase a few of the other characters, as I've now begun working on them too.

Finally, the biggest job of all has started - re-rendering nearly 2500 images. While I'm enjoying the challenge, it is a enormous job, especially as so many are being improved as I go. At the top, we can see Missy's victory over the bullies. And that's not the only yard event to have been redone lately.
You can now be Jess's slave in high-res too! Remember to address her as Mistress!
And here is Miss Paris shouting at Missy and Abbie for talking in class again. Well, it doesn't matter if you are 18, act like naughty little girls and you'll be treated like it!

I am looking forward to getting back to making new content. Got Chapter 4 sitting there looking at me while I get through all this!

At least their is progress, there is so much I'm looking forward to seeing. Missy being Lola's bondage doll. Missy being Miss Pearl's pet, not to mention Missy future as a slaver. Not to mention fun in the red light district.
