Into the Future!
🕑 Added 2024-08-17 17:36:37 +0000 UTCHi everyone. Following a successful supporter launch last week, the public will be getting the mini-update next week, then it'll be full steam ahead with 0.9! Busy seems to be the new normal for me, but I always make sure to find some time to do work on the game! I started making this thing back in the heady days of the Covid lockdowns. Oh, to have that kind of free time again!
I'm also catching up with a couple of outstanding commissions, so you'll get to see those shortly. To those of you waiting for these, my apologies, you'll have them soon!
Writing has started on Slave to Love. I already had a few ideas down, but nothing like the level of detail of Reign of Jess, so it's exciting making some completely new stuff. I have the skeleton of a story, and now I'm enjoying putting some meat on those bones. And flesh. And puppy fat...
Anyway, we've plenty of time to hear more about the new quest in the coming weeks. I'll also be polling the school council to see what else we'd like to see in this update. There's now a dizzying array of stuff waiting for updates; the school day, various character progressions, the strip club, the wrestling venue, there's whole areas of the city we haven't seen yet, such as the arena and the palace, there's the crime and punishment system, the combat overhaul, the list goes on!
Bug Squishing
Thanks to those that have made me aware of the bug with Abbie and the date. This will be fixed in the public release. It was thrown up by some code streamlining, so it's as well that it came to light now before the update drops for the public and a bunch of new players got frustrated by it. I'm slowly bringing the coding of the old quests up to standard, but since it doesn't add anything to the user experience, it's low priority. Nonetheless, Bad Girls Bitch and Down with the Bad Girls are next to get it, and this will hopefully reduce the risk of those quests developing bugs in the future as I progress Poppy's story. (They were a mess after I added Avenging Angel.)
