All hail Lady Aphrodite
🕑 Added 2025-01-03 16:15:50 +0000 UTCI know I'm all about m2m saxophones, but I'm posting this to give thanks to all the Appreciation and Sweet comments you guys gave when I released the Comic 🥰🥰🥰 when one of you guys said how gorgeous every page was, it brought tears in my eyes
I wanted to feature my draws of Aphrodite cus... I kinda wanted to prove i dont only draw guys, fun fact; i learned to draw human anatomy by starting with female bodies. Also, you guys really gave me so much Love ❤️, and also, she's my fav character on the Game! Gosh, I really made her so gorgeous in these panels.
Now, if anyone's curious, I wanted to share some details I put that you might not see, but drawing her involved many culture references;
I kinda moulded her face to be as near as the face of Venus. From the painting, Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli
Her eyes, skin, and body shaped were referenced from Lady Gaga's album cover of ARTPOP (the reason why her skin is lighter here than the game is because I wanted to give her this sense of Godly Spotlight, entirely covered with a Bright Pink Aura, as if her appearance was a projection from mount Olympus, because technically, Zagreus is talking to her hologram lol)
Speaking of hologram, The 3rd pic is a reference from BladeRunner 2049 in the "you look lonely... I can fix that" scene.
I spent most of my time attempting to perfect Aphrodite in her scenes, I wanted to mix up multiple references of Aphrodite/Venus into one, but not to the point that her looks here won't stray away from her impact on the Game, but you could say she looks different here.
It sounds ambitious when you think about it, especially putting all that effort into this comic. But Personally, it's worth it cus it allowed me to feature my fav Goddess! and gave me the the chance to express my artistic power.
Now it's been like 3 days since the release, I will be making the extended version of the Comic by adding more pages to it. The said Extension will only be available from lollipop to IceCream/Cake. IceCream/Cake will not only have the extended Comic but the PSD copy of the Comic as well. All of these updates will Come Next Week! I'll announce the goodies here.

Yay! I hope the extensions are where I hope they are! That one picture you did before the comic of Zagreus staring head-on at (presumably) Thanatos would look great in the comic.
