Playing with some IR

fair enough. My guess came from after reading that comment.

Nope! It was actually a piece of bread that I microwaved, ha. I'm going to give it to whoever said toast though. No idea what the reward is yet
sourdough?
Nile Red
Nope! Close though

I've decided that I'll give a winner on Patron as well as YouTube. Also, it isn't toast, but just a regular piece of bread. I feel like the difference is impossible to really guess though. So... Now to determine what the reward is
Grilled cheese?

Hmm that is an interesting question. I actually have no idea of any IR chemoluminescent reactions. Or of any that fluoresce primarily in IR. I am honestly not the most knowledgeable in that area though. If I were able to get my hands on a good high speed camera, I would be so excited!
Are there any non-exothermic/room temperature reactions that produce chemo-luminescence in the IR band ? Or compounds that fluoresce in the IR band ? "Cody's lab" did the water/acid thing. Hot/cold fluid mixing was interesting but not that informative, fluid dynamics is great with high speed video too.
Nile Red
You are close but I can't say how. :P

I'm trying to think of ways to pack beakers so they are safe to ship. Lab coats wouod be ideal though because they are obviously not fragile. Also for the guess...nope!
Nile Red
Nope
Nile Red
That's a good idea! I'll keep that in mind. I'll be getting the beakers within the next 1-2 months
Nile Red
Yup
Very cool and entertaining. Thanks for the video! I am guessing burnt toast?
Another great video - particularly the acid / water issues. You can clearly see the dangers. Yep - I'd be interested in some merch, and a lab coat is a great idea... or anything else that'd be light and non-fragile to transport to the UK!..... I think treyton is on the right lines, but it's an empty microwave TV dinner container, after you've served it up!... Keep up the good work.
It is a meal that you burnt.
Do we only get one guess?
Nile Red
Nope!
Nile Red
A friend had one from work and let me use it for a bit :)
Nile Red
Nope!
I'm guessing diapers. But it could also be a part of somebody you just murdered.

Jeez, man. Where'd you get your hands on one of those? They're expensive!
