It was surprisingly messy, but I was happy how well it was cleaned up.

Good job. You have a great deal of patience with this very frustrating stuff. I'm so glad after watching your videos that I don't have any mercury, or else I'd be tempted to use it for experiments and then I'd have to deal with the waste, and I don't think I could deal with the mess as coolly as you did. (I do have a little stash of mercury chloride, but I resisted using it for anything for the past 20 years :))
