Motte and Bailey Castle [42x59]
🕑 Added 2024-01-13 20:09:45 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
This has been a long requested map, for several years at least, but never actually won a poll, so we thought it was time to finally make it. A perfect map if you're in an early medieval village and a siege is about to break out!
We tried to bring a lot of life to this area, with animals and birds, a resident heron, and the willow trees, so even if it's not about to be invaded, maybe you can use this for something nicer like a heist or a shopping spree, or even your home base!

This one gives me Iron Town vibes from Princess Monoke. :)

I love the fishing hole version!! Perfect for my Rime of the Frostmaiden game!!

I doubt we'll do interiors for this one just because these buildings would probably all be quite similar, small, dark, damp, muddy hovels. Not much to show I think? Hmm.

This is perfect - the players in the game I'm running were just rewarded with a bit of land for their last campaign, and they'd wanted to establish a small frontier settlement. Any chance of interior maps, or recommendations for close-enough fits?

Could you adjust the grid color on the winter day variant? It's practically impossible to see...

It's perfect! Y'all just don't miss!

Very cool! As usual, love all the varieties you've come up with. Really makes it possible to fit this into quite a lot of adventures. I'm already thinking how I can make the Blood Ritual work with some of my cult stuff I've been prepping :)
