Hey guys! Please read this entire message from start to finish; it’s important.
First of all, a big thank you to all of you for being loyal readers and supporting me, financially or otherwise. Your support is what makes writing possible for me.
As some of you might remember, along with my writing career, I’m also preparing for my exams. I attempted them in May as well, but unfortunately, I failed because I was too focused on writing. My initial plan this time was to take a leave of absence from my day job to prepare, while continuing to write at night. That was going well for the past few weeks, until some of you rightfully pointed out that the story felt like it was dragging.
I realized I was writing just for the sake of it, not because I was enjoying it. To fix that, I’ve decided to take a break. This will give me time to focus on my exams and also recharge from the fatigue of writing nonstop.
I’ll be pausing membership for one month, though I’ll likely resume writing in about 20–25 days, depending on when I feel ready to dive back into writing. I won't be answering any messages after today, until the 8th of September (My last exam).
To clarify how this works: you won’t be charged during the break. If you’ve already been charged for this month, your subscription will automatically extend by one month. For example, if your subscription was set to renew on Sept 1, 2025, it will now renew on Oct 1, 2025.
Important: Do not cancel your subscription during the break.
Patreon doesn’t extend memberships if you cancel, meaning you’d end up paying again for a month you should have gotten for free. If you still need to cancel for any reason, please wait until your membership is about to expire after the extension. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged incorrectly during the break. And if by any chance you are, I’ll personally refund you, just shoot me a message.
If you are one of my free readers and want to read ahead during the break, you'll still be able to subscribe and will get full access to all chapters released to date.
