ASL2: Chapter 3 "Trouble In Paradise"
🕑 Added 2021-08-13 15:01:02 +0000 UTC-- CHAPTER 3: Trouble in Paradise --
****
-- SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2008 --
I thrust forward a final time, closing my eyes and bowing my head as I grunted out my orgasm, feeling the delight of a quart of spunk flowing out of me and into my lover’s suddenly spasming snatch. My pelvis pivoted forward, with my knees as fulcrums so that my feet came off the bed, and all of my weight and energy being put into that final deep thrust. I kept my cock buried at full depth down the gorgeous blonde’s vaginal canal, straining with my back and leg muscles while I spat out glob after glob of boiling cum into the deepest recesses of the most desirable pussy in the world.
“Ohhh… migawwwddd…” Adrienne groaned in response while she pressed her right cheek into the pillow beneath her. She lay flat and face-down beneath me, her arms and knees both spread to the sides. A small puddle of drool darkened the sheets, and the quivering from her lower lip eventually expanded into a full shiver across her body as her orgasm rippled down to her toes and fingertips.
Like a light bulb going dim, I felt the energy of my climax fade from me, as did the tension in my shoulders and chest. Slowly, my fingers released their grip on the edge of the mattress where it met the headboard, and I relaxed my forearms from the strain of using them as the primary method of driving my entire body back and forth while pounding my cock into my lover’s snatch from behind. I let my head fall all the way forward until my forehead was pressed against her right shoulder blade. And with a satisfied moan, I lowered the rest of my body down until my naked chest was pressed tight against her equally-naked back.
“Fuck, Tiger. I needed that,” the ridiculously hot supermodel sighed rapturously as she rubbed her palms atop my forearms before sliding her fingers forward to interlace them with mine.
“Is Sasha not taking care of you enough?” I asked with a chuckle.
Adrienne sighed again, this time her tone somewhat less than rapturous. “Can we not talk about Sasha right now?”
I blinked in surprise. “That sounds ominous. Trouble in paradise?”
“Seriously, Ben. Not now.”
“Alright, alright,” I conceded, her use of my real name doing more to shut me up than anything else. But she had seriously piqued my curiosity. I had used my own access card and keys to slip into the apartment without announcing myself, per usual. Finding Adrienne asleep in bed just a few minutes past twelve noon on a Saturday was also fairly typical. The fact that Sasha had not been curled up beside her had been uncommon, but not completely out of the ordinary as Adrienne’s girlfriend simply woke up and went out instead of sleeping in every now and again. Rather than pause to really dwell on the brunette’s absence, I’d focused my attention on titillating the bodaciously busty blonde’s senses as I woke her up to the pleasant feeling of my big dick sliding into her wet pussy.
The big dick I STILL had in her pussy at the moment.
“I just needed to feel this,” Adrienne continued with a sigh. “Needed to feel your weight crushing me down like this. Needed to feel you deep inside me, stretching my lonely pussy. I’ve missed you all week with your client meetings and everything.”
“It wasn’t ALL week. I visited on Tuesday. It’s only been four days.”
“An eternity without you, the most important person in my life.”
“Most import--?” I frowned. “Okay seriously, what’s going on with Sasha?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Where IS she right now?”
“Ben--”
“You two didn’t break up or anything, did you?”
“What? No. Nothing like that.” Adrienne glanced back at me over her shoulder before facing forward and exhaling slowly. “We had a fight, that’s all. She went to bed in her own room.”
I furrowed my eyebrows. “She wasn’t in there when I arrived. Her door was open.”
Adrienne sighed again and shrugged.
By now, I’d gone completely soft, the topic at hand not exactly conducive to maintaining an erection. Pulling back, my limp penis exited Adrienne’s sodden snatch with a wet squelching sound, and I rolled onto my back to stretch out an arm and grab a few tissues off the nightstand.
After wiping off my wet prick, I tossed the tissues into the nearby trash can and glanced back at my lover. Adrienne remained face-down, having essentially not moved from the position in which I’d finished fucking her, and she continued staring blankly at the headboard. She was exquisitely gorgeous in the soft white light filtering through the translucent white curtains covering the floor-to-ceiling windows of the high-rise apartment, her body a rollercoaster of curvaceous creamy skin. Only her obviously disquieted expression marred her one-of-a-kind beauty.
Planting my left elbow and propping my head on my hand, I gave her a serious look and ordered, “Talk to me.”
“I said I didn’t want to talk about her right now.”
“I’m aware of that. Talk.”
The blonde pursed her lips and glared at me. “Maybe I should give you a blowjob to distract you.”
“Maybe if I couldn’t get a blowjob anytime I wanted with the snap of my fingers that might actually work on me.” I slapped her ass. “Talk.”
“Okay, okay.” My lover sighed one more time and set her chin down before shooting me a bit of a smirk. She knew that I knew I could read her moods like the back of my hand by now. Or perhaps more appropriately, after all the years we’d been together, I’d put together a user manual of how to interact emotionally with Adrienne Dennis, World-Famous Supermodel, to go along with my user manual of how to interact sexually with Adrienne Dennis, World-Famous Supermodel.
I smiled and settled in for the long haul.
Adrienne shrugged and mumbled, “It’s my fault, really. You’d think I would’ve learned after everything you and I have been through. Maybe this is karma coming back to bite me in the ass for all the shit I did to you.”
“Shit you did to me?”
“Freshman year. When you gave me the promise ring.”
I blinked and thought about that. “You shoved a little Catholic redhead Sasha’s way to distract her while you went and fell in love with a gorgeous Korean girl instead?”
Adrienne rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at me. After I easily deflected the pillow, I smirked and drank in the sight of her absolutely incredible naked rack on full display now that she lay on her side.
Taking a deep breath, she explained, “I meant karma is paying me back for taking your offer of love and commitment and getting cold feet.”
My eyes narrowed. “Did you give Sasha a promise ring or something?”
“Or something.”
“Necklace? Bracelet? Cheap mall kiosk stainless steel with ‘Sasha Forever’ engraved on it?”
Adrienne snorted and shook her head before sitting up straight and fingering the necklace she wore. I hadn’t paid much attention to her jewelry (too distracted by the large naked globes beneath the necklace), but she lifted the pendant comprised of two interlocking heart outlines. “You’re not far off, actually. It’s rose gold. The engravings on each heart say ‘A’ and ‘S’.”
I leaned in close as Adrienne flipped the hearts over so I could see how the back of each heart outline had one of the girls’ initials carved into the rose gold material.
“This one’s mine, obviously,” she explained. “I assume Sasha’s matching necklace is in her room. She stopped wearing hers a week ago.”
I frowned. “A week ago? This has been going on all week and you didn’t tell me?”
Adrienne shrugged. “You were busy. Hamitomo or something, right?”
“Hashimoto,” I corrected. “But that was just during the day. If you’d told me, you know I would’ve been here for you.”
“And take you away from your little family during the workweek? No way. It’s fine. I mean…” Adrienne sighed again. “She knew you were coming over today. I had thought the opportunity to get some much missed Tiger-dick would’ve been enticement enough to… just… I dunno. To remember what it’s like to have fun together and not constantly be yelling at each other.”
“You’ve been constantly yelling at each other?”
Adrienne shook her head in the negative. “Sometimes we just quietly seethe in our own anger and resentment at opposite ends of the couch,” she tried to quip, but the joke was ruined by the actual dejection in her tone.
“And it’s all your fault.”
Adrienne frowned. “Not even going to consider the possibility that this is all HER fault?”
“Well, you DID say this is karmic payback, so I’m running under the assumption that you’re feeling guilty for the current rift. Plus, you actually said, ‘It’s my fault’ like two minutes ago. What did you do? I mean, is it an exact parallel where you gave her the matching necklaces as a commitment promise and she got cold feet?”
“Not exactly. I mean, I gave her the necklaces like a month ago and she never had an issue wearing hers until last week.”
“She give you a reason why she stopped wearing it?”
Adrienne looked up at the ceiling. “She said it felt like a desperation move on my part to wallpaper over the cracks in our relationship. She’s not wrong. We’ve been fighting for a while now.”
“A while?” I frowned. “How have I never noticed? I mean, I’m dense, but still…”
“Oh we never fight in front of OTHERS. And the few times we’re with you, it’s all about drowning in glorious orgasms. It’s easy to be in love and feel happy with each other when we’re both getting pounded and having our minds filled with blissful ecstasy. Relationships are easy when everyone’s having fun. What separates the good relationships from the ones that end up in divorce is how a couple handles the times when things get rough.”
“And you two aren’t handling the rough patch very well?”
Adrienne sighed. “I know she loves me.”
“And you love her?”
“With all my heart.”
“Sounds like you two will be just fine in the end, then.”
“That’s just it…” Adrienne shook her head slowly. “We’re disagreeing about our ‘end’.”
“Which is what exactly?”
Adrienne took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and sighed. “I told you: this is karma biting me back for everything I did to you.”
“Which is?”
“I want to settle down. Party less. Not chase pretty little things quite so much. Sasha’s still enjoying the nightlife. ‘We’re too young to turn into old biddies,’ she says. She loves being my wingman, and she says her feelings for me haven’t changed no matter how many skinny models and mousey P.A.s we bag. But I started asking questions about defining our relationship a little more officially--”
“Wait… ‘officially’ officially?” I interrupted, surprised. “You?”
Adrienne rolled her eyes. “Is it such a shock? I was ready to marry you, wasn’t I?”
“Did you actually ask Sasha to marry you?”
“No, of course not. But I did want to know where she saw us in another five years, ten years, that sort of thing. She didn’t want to think about that stuff, I wanted to know why she didn’t want to think about that stuff, and… yeah…” Adrienne’s voice trailed off and her eyes unfocused while she stared out into the middle distance. Eventually, she blinked and finally turned back to me, finishing, “And she stopped wearing her necklace.”
I nodded slowly, absorbing all of that. The devil was certainly in the details, which I didn’t have, but the look on Adrienne’s expression was all I needed to know. Scooting forward, I wrapped up my ex-fiancée in my arms and pulled her head up onto my chest while reclining back on a couple of pillows. I held her close and stroked her arm soothingly, just reminding her I was here for her even if I didn’t yet have the right words to say.
Adrienne squeezed me close and nuzzled her cheek against my chest. And closing her eyes, she murmured, “I love you, Tiger. Thanks for being here.”
“I love you too. Forever and Always.”
****
While I’d eaten brunch with Kim and BJ before coming over to San Francisco, Adrienne had obviously just woken up. Once we got up and got dressed, I offered to treat her to lunch, which turned out to be some cold-pressed juicery down the street. Adrienne had some foul-smelling dark green concoction that made me quite glad I’d already eaten, opting to get myself a cup of overpriced coffee next door. She wore a baggy Cal Berkeley sweatshirt with the hood up and oversized aviator shades to hide her face and cover her curves; nobody really bothered us that way. We sat side-by-side on barstools, staring out the window at pedestrian traffic outside and making small talk while sipping our drinks. But just when we were finishing up, Adrienne got a text that made her smile.
She slid her iPhone across the narrow bar table in front of me, and I smiled when I saw that the text was from Sasha, and that it included red hearts and kissy-face emojis. Adrienne quickly scooped the phone back up and started typing. Two minutes later, we tossed our cups into the trash and headed out the door.
Five minutes later the back of my head hit the wall right next to the front door of Adrienne and Sasha’s apartment. My arms were full of desperately horny, dark-eyed brunette as it had been over a week since the lusty, busty, bisexual babe had gotten any Ben-dick inside her and the sex-starved vixen seemed on a mission to rectify that grave injustice as soon as humanly possible.
It actually would’ve been four minutes later, not five, but Sasha had first gone after her girlfriend to give Adrienne the kind of make-up kiss everybody wants to feel after an emotionally-draining fight. Still, Adrienne had been quick to break their lip-lock and push Sasha over in my direction. My ex-college girlfriend had been quick to give me a pleasant, “Hey, Ben” greeting before launching herself at me and sealing her lips over mine.
It wasn’t that I’d forgotten there was trouble in paradise. It wasn’t that I didn’t care about Adrienne and Sasha’s relationship not being in the best shape at the moment. I was of course curious to learn more about those cracks Sasha accused Adrienne of trying to wallpaper over with the interlocking-heart necklaces, and I certainly wanted to get Sasha’s side of the story before coming to any conclusions about the situation. But all that stuff could wait.
I had a desperately horny, dark-eyed brunette in my arms after all.
Fuck her brains out first. THEN you can ask her questions.
Yep. Fuck. Definitely fuck.
We actually didn’t make it very far past the foyer. It was an accident, really. Sasha had unzipped my jeans in order to get access to Big Ben, wrapping my shaft in her cool fingers and stroking it urgently while her tongue invaded my mouth. I think the plan was to drag me by my dick into the living room, park me on the couch, and then impale her throat on my upright dick. She’d done it before, many times, on other occasions after greeting me by the front door with a fierce kiss. But for whatever reason, on this occasion my jeans actually managed to slip down past my knees, cutting off my ability to walk. And when Sasha started tugging me towards the living room, my feet got tangled, I lost my balance, and down I went.
No matter. It had been over a week since the lusty, busty, bisexual babe had gotten any Ben-dick inside her and the sex-starved vixen seemed on a mission to rectify that grave injustice as soon as humanly possible, remember?
From the moment I first saw her four years ago in Professor Isakova’s class, I’d recognized Sasha Serafian as one of the most beautiful girls on campus, even if she at first dressed down in a futile attempt to avoid attention. Relatively tall at 5’8”, and possessing a tanned complexion, big expressive eyes, and a lingerie model’s body complete with fat D-cup tits, I had been quite a lucky man to have once called her my girlfriend, even if in the end she ended up in a romantic relationship with Adrienne instead of me. Not that there were any hard feelings about how things turned out. After all, both of them still loved getting fucked by yours truly.
There had been a love between us, once. While my intimate relationships with Dawn, Adrienne, and DJ had dominated the landscape of my romantic history, if there had ever been a serious challenger to “The Big Three”, it was Sasha. In Dawn’s absence, I found in Sasha my new “constant”: the one I could depend on to share my days, share other lovers, and generally be my wingman through life. But then Adrienne and I reconnected, and around the same time, Sasha realized she didn’t have the same depth of feelings for me as the others did.
But she had those feelings for Adrienne.
In the end, I thought things had worked out for everyone. Adrienne had always been lesbian at heart, and she and Sasha seemed a match made in heaven. Dawn came back into my life, and I had my budding family in Kim and BJ. Throw in June and the twins and I was well-satisfied thank you very much. Nothing to complain about.
And yet, almost every time I saw Sasha, I wondered in the back of my head…
Would there EVER be someone else who could measure up to The Big Three?
Dawn and I were quite content with our Best Friends relationship, and I genuinely didn’t feel the need to mess with that. Adrienne was lesbian – I’d always be her rock and she my adoptive sister forever, but marriage wasn’t meant to be. And I’d broken DJ’s heart and let her go to find her future in SoCal.
I did say I wondered that almost every time I saw Sasha, but not always, and certainly not today. Today I was too busy getting overwhelmed by the feeling of my thick cock entering, exiting, and re-entering Sasha’s throat as she face-fucked herself on my dick right there on the floor. I watched her slam-fuck her face up and down in my lap, grinning at the uber-sexy sight. But knowing that our end destination would involve the removal of a lot more clothes, I went ahead and stripped off my shirt before sitting up and gently tugging up on Sasha’s head.
Like an infant with her beloved binkie, the doe-eyed brunette resisted my attempt to remove her favorite sucking toy, but she finally let me pry her head off my cock and then squealed as I abruptly rolled us over again. We still hadn’t quite made it to the living room, nor did I particularly care as I started going to work stripping off her clothing. In the end, I only got so far as pushing her sweater up to her neck and unclasping her bra so I could duck down and start nursing at her nipples. Sasha crooned while cradling my head to her bosom, and my hands stayed busy first unfastening her jeans and then yanking both them and her panties down low enough for me to plunge a couple of fingers into her already soaked snatch.
But Sasha hadn’t waited more than a week just to get her tits sucked and some fingerbanging. She got that kind of stuff all the time with Adrienne and their various model friends. What -I- possessed couldn’t be found anywhere else.
Well, that’s factually incorrect. There were lots of hard dicks whose owners would’ve been perfectly happy to attempt satisfying such a ridonkulously gorgeous babe like Sasha. But more specifically, only MY eight-inch column of man meat had both the proven track record of satisfying her and permission to do so. For as long as they’d been together, Sasha and Adrienne both proclaimed themselves to be “one-dick women”, luckily for me. And with a little more frantic rearrangement of clothing right there on the floor, we managed to completely free one of Sasha’s legs from her jeans and panties while I got my own jeans down around my ankles. And with some urgent hunching, I got Big Ben into position and started stuffing Sasha snatch full of satisfyingly-substantial schlong.
“Fuuuuuuck…” Sasha groaned when at last we were joined together, her frantic urgency melting away. She still clutched me with all four limbs right there on the carpet, but set her head down and sighed with obvious relief.
For my part, I remained slumped atop her lush body, enjoying the mental high of that first thrust inside. But like her, my urgency had melted away and I was content to pause and really savor the moment of our reunion for a minute or two.
But eventually, I picked my head up and looked down into Sasha’s eyes.
“Hey, Ben,” she repeated pleasantly as if we were just bumping into each other on the street, the same words from just before she attacked me. Her head was still on the floor and she looked up at me with a silly smirk.
“Hey, Sasha,” I replied in kind with a warm smile. I bent down to press my lips to hers - not quite a kiss, not yet. Rather, I kept my touch feather-light, gently twisting my head left and right rubbing our lips together in a tease. I wanted to know how much she wanted me.
From the way she speared my mouth with her tongue while grabbing my head and yanking me closer, she apparently wanted me a lot. At the same time, she hunched her hips and thrust upwards to impale her pussy on my shaft. And then we were off to the races, clutching and writhing and urgently humping each other right there on the floor.
Adrienne giggled beside us and said, “You two enjoy yourselves. I’m gonna go freshen up.”
“Mmm-hmm,” Sasha moaned in response without breaking our lip-lock. She ravenously devoured me while continuing to undulate her dancer’s body beneath me, constantly trying to cram an extra half-inch of dick down into her inner depths.
For whatever reason, I felt like resisting her. No, that’s the wrong word, but I was in a mood to tease her playfully. So without warning I yanked myself out of Sasha’s juicy cunt and rolled off her to the side.
“Hey, where you going?” she yelped in surprise while I laughed and tried to crawl away, but my jeans were still around my ankles and I could only manage an awkward inchworm.
I nearly made it to the couch, but not quite, before she caught up to me.
“Gotcha!” Sasha exclaimed as she pounced and physically rolled me onto my back. Pinning my chest down with both of her hands, she shrugged herself completely free of her jeans before swinging a leg over my midsection. And while I probably could’ve freed myself, I simply grinned up at the busty brunette while she fisted my cock, centered herself over it, and lowered herself down with a blissful sigh.
And then we were off to the races again.
Sasha moaned and groaned while humping herself up and down in a cowgirl position. At first, I simply held her hips as she rode me, but then her sweater fell back down, obscuring my view of her big bouncing boobies, and we couldn’t have that now, could we? I reached up with both hands to lift the offending material out of the way and started going honka-honka to my heart’s content, fondling away. Sasha’s tempo sped up when I started pinching her nipples, and I sat up to bury my face in the valley of her cleavage before first licking one teat and then biting gently on the other.
“Shit-shit-shit!” Sasha cursed as she urgently humped herself down the final stretch, almost reaching climax.
Almost.
With an evil cackle, I rolled us once again, Sasha screeching in surprise as her world suddenly turned upside-down. Once again, I yanked myself out of her not-quite climaxing cunt and inchwormed away. But now I took the time to step out of my shoes and completely strip off my jeans and boxers before scrambling up to my feet.
“BEN!” my astonished ex-girlfriend complained shrilly as she scrambled after me.
I couldn’t run far - we were in a San Francisco apartment, after all – nor did I try. I actually just ran into the kitchen and spun around in time to catch my lusty lover as she barreled straight into me. But rather than let her pin me down or anything else like that so she could get me deep inside her once again, I grabbed her head, mashed my mouth on hers while jamming my tongue between her lips. And just when she started getting into the fervor of our kiss, I spun her around, bent her over the kitchen counter, and swiftly slammed my schlong back into her spasming snatch from behind.
“Fuck, yeah,” Sasha groaned gutturally as I set up a steady rhythm, really pounding my prick in and out of her pussy. At first, I held her hips while she thrust her svelte yet curvy ass back at me to meet my every thrust. But then I realized her sweater had fallen down again and slid my hands up her ribcage to palm both big breasts and clutch them tightly.
“So good… I’ve missed your cock…” she crooned while I bent over her back and really banged my pelvis into her behind.
“So wet… so tight…” I groaned in reply. “I’ve always loved fucking you.”
“Mmm, yes, just like that,” Sasha moaned as I lay my chest against her back and started nibbling on her shoulder. She needed both hands to brace herself against the counter, but bent over further to use just her left forearm as a support while reaching back with her right hand to wrap it around my head. “I’m gonna cum! Don’t you fucking pull out this time you fucking rat-bastard!”
I chuckled and grunted, too focused to reply with words. I was done teasing her and rammed her hard and I rammed her fast, holding nothing back. And at the same time, I dropped my right hand down from her tit to plant three fingers on her clit and start rubbing away.
The effect was immediate. Sasha threw her head back as she came (good thing my face was over her shoulder, else she might’ve broken my nose), howling her ecstasy with a window-rattling roar.
“FFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!”
“FFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!”
“FFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!”
Her clenching cunt clamped down around my cock, pulsing powerfully. Sasha’s squeezing inner muscles sucked out my sperm, and suddenly I was spraying her sopping-wet snatch full of scalding semen. I roared in response to her cry of climax, my whole body slamming down on Sasha’s back until her knees buckled and she collapsed against the kitchen counter. I fell with her, both of us bent over the granite surface as my dick continued belching great cumballs into her tight twat.
And then we were done.
The room was silent save for the sounds of two exhausted lovers panting in the aftermath of amazing orgasm. Sasha’s cheek was flat atop the counter, as was half of her upper torso. My own cheek was on her shoulder, our sweaty bodies flushed from exertion in addition to being pressed flush together. But as we both cooled down and the afterglow of orgasm passed, I pressed my hands to the countertop in preparation to push myself up and withdraw my spent cock from her sodden snatch.
But Sasha grabbed my hands before I could, stopping my movement. I relaxed, willing to stay put if that’s what she wanted. She drew our hands in, closer to her body. And she let out a long sigh, its tone somewhat mournful as she turned to look back at me over her shoulder.
“I suppose we need to talk,” she said quietly.
I blinked and arched an eyebrow. “I wasn’t going to press you just yet, especially not after what we just did. Figured we could at least enjoy the evening before turning it into the Spanish Inquisition.”
Sasha snorted and shook her head. “No, it’s alright. I’m glad you’re here because I really want to talk to you too.”
I gave her a nod and a smile.
“After all,” Sasha began before raising both her eyebrows, “you have some experience with breaking Adrienne’s heart.”
****
“You know, it occurs to me that Adrienne didn’t even stick around to watch us fucking,” I muttered in the elevator as Sasha and I headed down to the parking garage. Adrienne wanted us to talk to each other as much as we did, so the plan was for us to drive off to some quiet place with a view and chat.
“I realized that too, actually,” Sasha mumbled quietly.
With a frown, I shook my head, saying, “I can’t remember the last time I had sex with her nearby and she didn’t even bother to watch. I mean, maybe if she was a little busy sticking her face in your crotch – or some other hot young thing’s crotch – but this was different.”
Sasha had her eyes closed when I glanced over at her, taking deep, calming breaths. Still I could see the tension on her face despite her attempts to remain calm.
“Want me to drive?” I offered.
“Please.” Without opening her eyes, Sasha reached into her purse, pulled out the keys to her BMW X6, and blindly held them out for me. I took them in hand and then wrapped my right arm around her waist while she sagged against my side.
“Good lord, Sasha. You’re shaking.” I turned to face the lovely brunette and pull her into a tight hug. She shuddered a little, not unlike the way she’d shuddered earlier when I’d given her an orgasm, only this time her quivering body was a grave sign of distress, not satisfaction.
When the elevator dinged and the doors opened to the parking garage, Sasha still clutched me tightly and didn’t seem ready to let go. So rather than try and escort her out of the elevator, I remained where I was, holding her firmly and stroking her head gently, until the doors closed and the elevator compartment started rising once more.
It wasn’t a long trip. We only made it up to the lobby level before the doors opened to reveal a startled young man surprised to see a beautiful brunette with tears in her eyes holding me. Rather than join us, he held up both hands and took a step back until the doors closed again. This time, I hit the button for the parking garage, and after a moment’s thought, the elevator once again descended.
This time, Sasha felt composed enough to let me take her by the hand and lead her out into the garage. We headed straight over to her parking space and she let go of me to circle around to the passenger side on her own. But after I hopped into the driver’s seat and fitted the key to the ignition, I let my hand fall away, my intended question about where she wanted to go no longer seeming relevant. Sitting in the car seemed as good a place as any.
“Do you want to break up with Adrienne?” I asked a little hesitantly.
“What?” Sasha looked surprised. “No, of course not.”
I exhaled in obvious relief as the knot in my stomach unraveled a bit. “Okay at least that’s cleared up. That whole bit you said upstairs about me having experience with breaking Adrienne’s heart had me… nervous.”
Sasha shook her head like I didn’t understand. “I don’t WANT to break up with her, but I’m wondering if that’s what we NEED to do.”
The knot in my stomach was back. “But… why?”
Sasha closed her eyes and let her head drop back against the headrest. She paused for a long few moments, collecting herself. And after taking a deep breath, she finally opened her eyes and turned to look at me. “What has she told you so far?”
“Not a whole lot. She showed me her rose gold necklace with the interlocking hearts. She said she’s getting karmic payback for breaking up with me at the end of freshman year for giving her a promise ring. She said you said you’re too young to settle down and turn into old biddies.”
“We ARE too young to turn into old biddies.”
I shook my head. “Not disagreeing with you.”
Sasha sighed. “She just feels old. Like… twenty-four is ancient in model years or something.”
“She’s not that old,” I insisted. “And the rules are different for superstars. Giselle’s already twenty-eight. Taylor is what, thirty-two?”
“Maybe it’s not the years, it’s the miles. She’s lived a pretty hectic jet-setting life for a while now.”
“True enough,” I agreed.
“And now she’s at the top of her game, looking around and wondering if there’s really anything left to accomplish career-wise.”
“I suppose not much.” I thought about that and asked, “What do the other superstar models do?”
Sasha’s eyebrows went up. “Get married. Have a couple of kids. Turn to charity work.”
I winced. “The charity stuff I could maybe see. Kids…”
Sasha nodded slowly, gave me a funny look, and then faced out the window.
I frowned and began hesitantly, “You know, we never got far enough in our relationship for me to stop and seriously ask you. I mean, in college you were pretty adamant that you’d never want to have kids. But after seeing little April and then BJ, did you ever--”
“No, I still don’t want kids,” she interjected. “Didn’t change my mind.”
“Oh. Okay. Because for a second there, you had this look on your face like you were… considering it.”
“No, not me.”
I blinked. “You’re gonna tell me Adrienne was considering having kids?”
Sasha made a face. “Not exactly, no.”
“Well that’s clear as mud.”
Sasha sighed. “She’s never mentioned having kids with me. You know her fears about her own childhood.”
“I certainly do.”
“And I know her hesitance to bear your children was one of the defining factors in your decision to break off the engagement.”
I grimaced. “Not one of my finer moments.”
“And yet… I mean…” Sasha pursed her lips and looked out the window again. There was nothing on that side but the singularly uniform gray concrete wall of the divider between us and the next parking bay. “You asked a minute ago what superstar models do when they’ve accomplished everything career-wise. Family, kids, charity work, all that stuff… I’m just saying I know the thought has crossed her mind.”
“So this is the part where she told me she at least wanted to talk to you about the state of your relationship and where you saw it going in the next five or ten years.”
Sasha closed her eyes and furrowed her eyebrows. Taking a deep breath, she sighed and exhaled slowly again. “Do you remember the night Adrienne and I went official?”
“How could I forget?” I shrugged. “New Year’s Eve party.”
“Yeah: New Year’s Eve. As in… less than nine months ago. How the fuck am I supposed to know where I expect to see this relationship in TEN YEARS.”
I grimaced. “Seems like my supernatural ability to rush a relationship too fast rubbed off on her.”
“Seems like,” Sasha agreed. “Don’t get me wrong: I LOVE her to pieces. In a total vacuum, yeah, the idea of being together forever and growing old together sounds great, and I’ve told her that. But she’s like… serious about this settling down stuff. And I’m like… a year ago I was YOUR girlfriend. As much as I love her, I never stopped and really thought of myself as… as a lesbian. Bisexual, certainly. Leaning more towards girls than guys, sure, probably. But… settling down? Making this permanent? Getting MARRIED?!?”
“It’s too much, too fast.”
“You think?!?” Sasha shook her head. “Spending the rest of my life with Adrienne, I can sorta wrap my head around. Spending the rest of my life married to another woman… I’m…”
“Having a hard time with that?”
“Yeah.”
“Even though Adrienne is, obviously, a woman.”
“It’s different. I’m gonna be honest, here: dating Adrienne means I still get to pork you. That’s a HUGE part of our relationship. Yeah, she’s my girlfriend. She’s my ‘constant’. But a couple of times a week, I can usually depend on you pinning me down and shoving that gorgeous cock in and out of my body over and over again until I drown in orgasmic ecstasy.”
I shrugged. “I’ll be happy to keep porking you for as long as you like.”
“For now, sure. What happens if you find yourself a new girlfriend who doesn’t like to share?”
I snorted. “Never happen in a million years. For one thing, I’m never giving up Dawn or Adrienne. Any girl who can’t share won’t last two nights with me.”
“Well… okay, I was gonna say anything’s possible if you fall head over heels for some girl who demands monogamy, but now that I think about it, yeah, you’re never giving up Dawn.”
“There you are.”
“But what if Adrienne decides to move back to New York or Paris and take us away from you.”
I frowned. “I’m pretty sure Adrienne’s never moving far away from me, either. Not again.”
“You never know. The girl loves fucking your brains out, yes, but at the same time, I think she could handle living in Europe and only seeing you every couple of months or so.”
I made a face and felt the truth in her words. “I’ll concede that the statistical probability of Adrienne choosing to move away from me is somewhat higher than the likelihood of me giving up Dawn.”
“See. And then what am I gonna do the next time I’m horny for some cock?”
I made a face, not wanting to think about that prospect all that much. Sasha didn’t belong to me and I had no right to prevent her from hooking up with any other guys, but for now at least I was her one and only dick and I’d like to keep it that way as long as possible thank you very much.
Shaking my head, I said, “She’d never just pick you two up and move to another city against your wishes.”
“I’d like to think not, but even more, I just don’t want to think about that stuff at all. We’re still YOUNG. We’re still having FUN. Yes, I love going to all these parties full of hot girls with a thing for shoving their tongues up my twat. And by the way, YOU need to come join us at more of these parties too.”
“Dawn, Kim, BJ, June--”
“Yeah-yeah-yeah, you insist your dance card is full enough. I heard you the first fifty times. The POINT is… I’m not ready to settle down yet. Is that such a crime?”
“No, of course not.”
“I’M not ready to even give serious thought to all that shit yet. Is THAT such a crime?”
“No, of course not.”
“I’m flattered that when Adrienne starts looking to the future and starts imagining a settled-down life with her charity work and yeah, maybe even kids, she imagines that life with me. But I’m not ready to think about that kind of stuff yet. I’d like our relationship to… y’know… make it to a one-year anniversary first, huh? Is that so much to ask?”
I sighed. “No, of course not.”
“It’s like she doubts my love for her just because I’m not ready to start picking out wedding venues. Sound familiar?”
I scowled and sighed. “Yes, sounds familiar.”
“I’m not ready for that shit. I’m sorry, but I’m not. I love her to pieces, but I can’t…” her voice trailed off as she shook her head.
“I get it.”
“So this is where you come in. You’ve been on the other side of this equation, all in a hurry to get your happily ever after and not sure how to deal with it when the love of your life isn’t on the same timeline as you.”
I arched an eyebrow. “Uh… well… I suppose I have.”
“So what am I supposed to do? I’ve told her all this stuff. I’ve asked her not to push me. I’ve asked her to give me time, let me enjoy our lives the way it is, but she won’t let me.”
“Won’t LET you?”
“She insists that we need to have these conversations. She insists that we need to at least think about our future together. It’s like she’s terrified of me abandoning her for some other hot babe at a party – as if there was even ONE hotter babe than her at any party.”
“Well, she does have some abandonment issues after her upbringing.”
“So do I, if you’ll remember.”
“Of course I do. But your abandonment issues don’t invalidate hers.”
Sasha sighed. “Fair enough. But I don’t know how to reassure her I’m not about to abandon her.”
“I dunno… put that damn necklace back on instead of freaking her out by taking it off?”
Sasha waggled her head side-to-side. “Okay well… that’s a good point.”
I popped my eyebrows.
“She just… she just got me so mad that I…” Sasha sighed. “I don’t want to say she’s smothering me but--”
“But she’s smothering you?”
“When the hell did Adrienne get so clingy and needy? Every little minor thing sets her off. I’m telling you, it’s like the girl’s had PMS for a month already. Something’s going on inside her pretty little head that has her spazzing out.”
I frowned and sat up. “Really?”
“Really. So what was it that had YOU spazzing out last year?”
“What?”
“You’re the Adrienne in this equation, remember? You were the one who got clingy and needy and blamed the downfall of your relationship on the fact that the two of you never had those necessary conversations picking out wedding venues.”
“Uh… well…”
“I mean, now that I stop to think about it, maybe what happened between you two IS the thing that’s making her spazz out. If your relationship failed because the two of you never got on the same page about this stuff, maybe THAT’S why she’s so insistent that we need to have these conversations so she doesn’t repeat the failure.”
I thought about that. “Well, she does keep calling this situation karmic payback.”
“She broke your heart, Ben. Fuck, you broke hers. I really don’t want us to suffer the same fate, but she’s driving me bonkers and I don’t know how to deal. I love her. I really, really love her, and I want to make this work.”
“I know you do.”
“I want to make sure I don’t make the same mistakes you did and end up breaking her heart, and at the same time I need your point of view to understand where this cloying, driving need to settle down is coming from.”
I shrugged. “Maybe her biological clock is ticking.”
Sasha snorted. “If that’s the case, then I am the wrong partner for her. And even if it’s not the case, I might still be the wrong partner for her.”
“Don’t say that. You two are amazing together.”
“I’d like to think so too.” Sasha gave me a sad look. “But at the end of the day, I value Adrienne’s happiness. And if that means her ending up with someone other than me…”
She paused, shook her head, and exhaled slowly.
“Like I said: I don’t want to break up with her, but I have to accept that maybe we need to.”

Wookey
After this chapter I like Sasha less. And can’t work out why Ben does not call out Sasha’s BS. Having stolen Adrienne and ensured he was the third wheel, she then blames Ben for breaking Adrienne’s heart! Not to mention the humiliation of the NYE Party when Ben stuck round for THEM and was made to look a fool. Am I the only one thinking this? The comments section suggests so.
