If we're talking about a character that's going to make Matty uncomfortable even though he hasn't done anything particularly wrong, it seems almost fitting for him to have the same name as someone who was an asshole. (That said, I legitimately don't remember what you're referring to specifically. In my defense, there are a LOT of characters in BD's stories at this point. >_>)

Matty's name is already Matthew and that would be WEIRD for Matthew's mom to be dating a boyfriend named Matthew.

I don’t know why but I find a name like Bradley can be Marty calls him brad and he corrects him to say it is Bradley ( though Chadwick works as well so good call by Mr Daigger

If he is to be a protagonist I think Ian is a good name. An antagonist, he is definitely a Chad (or pretentious Chadwick)
