“But you’ve been so kind and generous with me. Any other guy would’ve walked away from the bitchy outsider who came into your house and accused you of running a cult.”

“Sounded like you two had a pleasant morning,” the blonde remarked with a pearly-white smile and a wink. “Matty must’ve been pretty backed up after going a whole day without.”
Eva smirked and briefly glanced down at her own crotch. “I think it’s still leaking out of me.”
“Shhh…” Sam put a finger to her lips. “If Belle hears you, she’s liable to drag your pants down right here in the kitchen and go hunting.”
Eva waggled her head and giggled at me. “I suppose there are worse ways to start off a school day. Although I realistically don’t have the time. I need to run back to my room to change and everything before class.”
Sam nodded her understanding. “Want to grab something quick to eat?”
“No time for that either; takes too long to put my face on. I’ll be fine.” Eva leaned over to give me a quick peck on my cheek. “See you later, cowboy.”
“Bye,” I replied warmly, sad to see her go but happy to watch her leave.
Eva glanced back at me over her shoulder as she departed to make sure I was ogling her ass (I was, of course), and she gave it a quick wiggle before disappearing around the corner.
Meanwhile, Sam came to wrap her arms around my midsection, and as I felt her embrace I turned my face to hers and puckered up. My girlfriend gave me a tender “good morning” kiss, and when I grabbed her ass and tugged her a little tighter against my crotch, she giggled and then increased the passion of her liplock while grinding her belly against my refreshed boner.
But rather than escalate the kiss into something else, Sam pulled back and smirked at me. “I think I’m getting used to her calling you ‘cowboy’, although I get the impression she does more riding than you do.”
“Well this morning I definitely spent more time in the saddle,” I replied with a shrug. “And I wouldn’t mind going for another ride with a fresh filly.”
Sam laughed and rubbed my upper arms. “I know you would, and I love that about you. But unfortunately, Thanksgiving Break is over and it’s back to the real world for me.”
I pouted. “The clock struck midnight and my darling Sam has turned back into a pumpkin?”
My girlfriend’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t ever compare a girl to a ‘pumpkin’.”
I barked a short laugh and nodded. “Good advice. That didn’t quite come out right.”
She gave me a lopsided grin. “I had a great weekend with you and the girls, and Winter Break is less than a month away.”
I nodded and gave her a reassuring smile. “Just a few weeks.”
Sam raised her arms around the back of my neck. “Still my ‘home’?”
“Always.”
And then we kissed.

Once my beautiful, busty blonde bombshell and I separated for air, I put on the face of an ever-loving, ever-understanding, ever-loyal boyfriend and took the spatula from Sam’s hand. “I’ll finish brekkie. You go on ahead.”

I turned my attention back to the gas range, focusing on breakfast. Well no, I didn’t focus on breakfast. I closed my eyes for a moment and focused on my memory of Sam’s sweet voice telling me she’d love me forever. And I replayed that memory over and over and over again.
Sam loved me and always would.
I didn’t need her to say it out loud all the time or anything, but I definitely felt better when she did.
I mean yeah, I would’ve liked to have her around more often, but I really had no grounds for complaint. She’d gone home to be with her family for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, just as Belle and Naimh had both done. And then she’d come back to me to spend the entire weekend together with the OG BTC and we’d made love and lustily fucked each other’s brains out and played Pictionary and all that, which was great. I’d spent more combined hours in Sam’s presence within the last two days than I had in the previous two weeks.

“Is something burning?” Belle asked as she wandered into the kitchen.
I blinked, looked down at my frying pan, and groaned.
“Shit.”

Per our normal Monday/Wednesday routine, Naimh held my hand for the walk from our house onto campus while Belle followed behind us. And all three of us were a little out of breath from having to scramble to get out the door on-time.
I’d have loved to say we were running behind schedule because my two reddish-haired girlfriends and I had gotten into a torrid threesome or something equally fun, but the reality was that Belle and I had needed to start breakfast over from scratch given that I’d scorched everything. Well, some of it was still edible (which meant that I was the one eating the burnt stuff), but you get the idea. And all of our available time this morning had been spent re-making breakfast and then wolfing it down quickly instead of getting into that hypothetical torrid threesome, or even having the opportunity to talk to each other.
Which is why the girls wanted to talk NOW.
“So is Eva now an official girlfriend?” Belle asked curiously from behind us.

“Really?” Naimh inquired, glancing back over her shoulder at Belle.
“Oh, totally,” the impish pixie intoned with a conspiratorial air that invited one to lean forward and learn all of the latest juicy gossip. “Normally Eva’s all, ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!’ at the top of her lungs, and this morning it was all, ‘Yesss, Matty… Yesss, Matty…’”
To her credit, Belle did a fair approximation of Eva’s breathy inflection and tone. Still, I silently cursed the stupid Swiss-cheese soundproofing of the house.
I sighed and shook my head in the negative. “Eva and I aren’t like that. She’s still quite emotionally vulnerable after everything she went through with Kai. She’s had a hellish past, and although she’s come to trust me and feel safe with me for now, she’s in no shape to start a new intimate relationship.”
“She’s already in an intimate relationship with you,” Naimh pointed out. “Both physically AND emotionally.”
“But not romantically,” I emphasized. “And honestly, I don’t think she and I ever WILL become romantic with each other.”
“Why not?” Naimh inquired.
“I just don’t think Eva and I click that way.”
“I think you and Eva have ‘clicked’ from the very beginning. That girl has been suuuper attracted to you from the day you met.”
I rolled my eyes. “No she hasn’t. She just hung around because Lily dragged her over and she had nowhere else to go. And if she gravitated to me first, I told you she’s always been more comfortable around guys instead of girls. But more to the point: I’m not romantically attracted to her.”
“Really?” Naimh looked skeptical.
I gave her a look of confusion. “What, do you WANT me to be romantically attracted to Eva or something? Wouldn’t you rather I limit my love to the two of you?”
“Well, the two of us and Sam,” Belle pointed out.
“Right,” I confirmed. “I only said ‘two’ because the two of you are here right now. What I mean is: You’re my girlfriends; aren’t you supposed to be jealous of me falling in love with anyone else?”
“You mean like how we got super-jealous of Lily?” Belle drawled sardonically.
“It’s not that I’m surprised you were all-aboard with me and Lily starting a relationship, but I do wonder why. What was the end goal? Belle, you’ve told me before that you want to marry me someday. Neevie, you’ve said the same thing. And while I’ve tried to make abundantly clear that I’m focused on the present, and that any thoughts of settling down and marriage are far, FAR off into the future, I just don’t see the compatibility with you two having those marriage goals and you encouraging more girls to fall in love with me.”
“I’m a bundle of contradictions,” Belle muttered ruefully.
“That’s an understatement,” Naimh muttered with a smirk.
She then checked her watch, took my hand, and pulled us off the main sidewalk and led us a ways down an alley towards an apartment complex’s parking bays. She glanced around to make sure there was nobody around at the moment, and she took hold of both of my hands while staring up at me with shining emerald-green eyes.
“Matty… I’ll never be jealous of you loving anyone else,” my Head Girlfriend continued. “Being in The BTC, watching the way you are with all of the girls, I canna’imagine you ever settling down with only one of us. Perhaps some people are meant to only have intertwined roots of undying love with one other person, but not you. That’s now how you’re built. You are a man made to love with a limitless heart.”
“Well I do have some limits,” I groaned rather wearily. “Good lord, wasn’t I supposed to rest this Thanksgiving Break?”
“Well you knew Alice, Mari, and Holly were coming up Saturday, so I’m sure you never expected to rest the whole Thanksgiving Break.” Naimh gave me a rueful shrug. “I tried to let you rest on Wednesday, but then Mari called me out the blue to say she wanted to come see you early, and of course Alice came over Friday morning, so things didn’t quite work out as planned.”
“I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
“That’s me Matty. Always rising to the occasion. Lit’rally.” She waggled her eyebrows suggestively and then smirked again. “Although you did end up taking a break from ‘performing’ on Sunday, at least, yeah?”
I smiled. “It was nice. Playing party games and just enjoying each other’s company. It was like old times in high school.”
“I’ll have to take your word for it. The BTC must’ve been playing party games your first few years, because once I showed up, we spent a lot more time gettin’ nekkid, or at least teasing you about getting’ nekkid.”
“Good times,” I drawled with a wolfish grin, going ahead and grabbing my girlfriend’s ass and giving it a healthy squeeze. And then I reached out to grab Belle’s ass, molesting her through her tight jeans while tugging her against my other side.
“I’ve known for a long time I would need to share you,” Belle told me sincerely. “And given my proclivities for slurping your yummy cum outta hot babes’ holes, sharing you tends to be a net positive for me. But seriously, you remember what I said about true family being what you make it. You know what it’s like to feel alone, Matty. -I- know what it’s like to feel alone. And I don’t want any of us to ever feel that way ever again. The BTC is our true family now, and like my dad said: more is merrier.”
I raised my eyebrows. “You really mean that?”
“I think I’ve made abundantly clear by now that what matters most to me is the two of us staying together forever,” Belle stated with heartfelt sincerity. “But that’s never meant I needed to keep you all to myself or anything like that.”
“And I think I’ve made abundantly clear that while I want to be with you for the rest of my life,” Naimh added, “I would never be selfish and put my relationship with you ahead of the greater good for the group. Your body may have limits, but I know your heart expands for all of us. As many as need be.”
“The heart, perhaps. But my body, my mind, my available hours in a day…” I sighed and shook my head rather wearily before glancing at my watch. “Speaking of time, we need to keep going.”
I suited the action to my words by guiding both women out of the alley so we could continue on towards class. Naimh slipped her hand back into mine while Belle fell into trail position on the narrow sidewalk.
“I know you both were eager to make new friends after we came to Berkeley,” I began. “We were all used to having a big group of girls to hang out with, and with Alice, Mari, Holly, and Zofi all off to school across the country, it almost felt like there were four available slots up for grabs.”
“Not that we’d ever try to replace them,” Belle hedged.
“But still, I know you missed having a bestie around, and you and Lily hit it off so quickly we were immediately calling you two peas in a pod,” I said lightly before squeezing my personal redhead’s hand. “And you made no secret of your desire to find friendship.”
“I smell a ‘but’ coming…” Naimh teased with a twinkle in her emerald-green eyes.
“But I’m exhausted, even more than I had been before Thanksgiving Break. Skylar told you that I was running on fumes, and I’m not just talking about sex. I’m worn out: physically, mentally, emotionally…”
“I know. I’m sorry I’m not doing a better job of being a good girlfriend and looking after your well-being,” Naimh apologized, “let alone Head Girlfriend.”
“Being ‘Head Girlfriend’ doesn’t mean it’s your fault and nobody else’s that I’m getting worn out.”
Naimh waggled her head. “Kinda does… It’s like one of Sam’s case studies. I’m the manager and the buck stops here, right? Or am I messing up the American idiom?”
“We ALL should take responsibility for Matty’s well-being,” Belle interjected. “You may have ‘Head Girlfriend’ responsibility, but I still have ‘little sister’ responsibility.”
“Nobody’s responsible for me except me,” I insisted. “I should’ve had better communication with both of you before. But I’m trying to communicate with both of you now at least, all right?”
“All right,” Naimh agreed. “And you’re trying to communicate now that you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed.”
“I’ve been feeling overwhelmed for a while. I mean, haven’t I been saying all along from the very beginning that I wanted to focus on the existing girlfriends I had?” I glanced over my shoulder first at Belle and then pointedly looked at Naimh as well, stating, “You were the one who started telling stories to try and get Lily and Eva to fall into bed with us, and then you added on with Skylar as well. Did either of you ever stop to consider that maybe we are all better off keeping things just the way they are instead of continually trying to recruit more girls?!?”
Naimh stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and frowned while studying my expression. “Are you really upset with us, Matty?”
I sighed and shook my head. “I’m not ‘upset’…”
“But you’re ‘overwhelmed’,” Belle chimed in.
“I’m feeling burnt,” I muttered.
“Like this morning’s breakfast,” Belle quipped, which made Naimh giggle.
“You’re not wrong,” I sighed. “You don’t know how relieved I felt this morning when Eva told me she wasn’t in love with me and didn’t want to turn our friendship romantic. You tell me my heart is infinite, Neevie, but I look back at my relationship with Lily and see all the holes and ways I simply didn’t have the bandwidth to develop kipona aloha with her the way she really wanted. I’m glad Skylar doesn’t want to complicate our friendship with sex, which would put an even greater workload on me. And if I’m being honest, the last few times Isabela’s come over, having sex with her has started to feel like… like work.”
I glanced back over my shoulder at Belle with that last sentence, and she scowled and made a face at me.
“Like ‘work’? Don’t ever tell Isabela you said that,” Belle muttered.
“I don’t plan to.”
“Is she really that bad in bed?”
“Oh, Isabela’s not ‘bad’ in bed. She’s hot and sexy and enthusiastic. This really isn’t a knock on her,” I insisted. “It’s just… we don’t really have an emotional connection, and I’ve never felt that ‘it-factor’ with her that would suggest we could ever develop one. She’s been very upfront and honest that she just wants to get laid, no strings attached, I felt like I was just going through the motions with her from almost the very beginning. It’s not like when I’m making love with one of you.”
Belle waggled her head. “I kinda get that. I mean, I noticed that you never seemed to really hunger for her the way you so obviously hunger for us.”
“I noticed, too,” Naimh agreed. “Matty really needs an emotional connection to really enjoy having sex with a girl. We all should’ve known that already, shouldn’t we?”
Belle nodded, but then paused and made a face. “Ooh, Isabela told me she wanted to come over this afternoon to get laid after spending the weekend with her family.”
“Dios mío…” I groaned.
“But I can tell her we used you up all weekend and you’re burnt out,” Belle offered. “Keep her at bay for a while, and if you never feel up to it, you never HAVE to feel up to it. It’s supposed to be ‘no strings attached’, right? That should go both ways. Maybe she’ll take the hint. Maybe she’ll get bored of waiting for you to come around and seek out some other young stud to satisfy her; it’s not like this campus is short on guys who’d wanna tap that.”
“Wait, does that mean Luna would stop coming over?” Naimh whined momentarily before grimacing at me. “Sorry, Matty. I don’t mean to guilt you into servicing Isabela just so I can keep hanging out with her girlfriend.”
“If Luna is really your friend,” Belle advised, “she’ll want to hang out with you whether or not Matty’s servicing Isabela.”
“True,” Naimh reasoned as we came to our usual intersection where my Irish redhead would usually split off to bounce away towards the Biology buildings. “But just to make sure we’re all in agreement before I go: Matty needs some rest - physically, emotionally, and mentally. Finals are coming up and we only have a few weeks left in the semester. Lily’s already walked away from the group. Sam’s gonna do her usual thing away from the house. I assume you and Eva can work things out on your own. Belle can help temper Isabela for a little while. And Luna was never interested in your junk in the first place.”
“But I don’t want to cramp your social life,” I insisted. “For either of you. Sex aside, B, I know Isabela’s been a great friend to you, and you’ve needed that after Lily left.”
“I’m not asking you to keep screwing Isabela just so I can have a friend,” Belle countered. “She and I will still hang out. Being good friends with a girl doesn’t mean we HAVE to have sex.”
Naimh blinked. “And when, exactly, was the last time you became good friends with a girl and DIDN’T have sex with her?”
Belle pursed her lips and thought about that before smirking at me. “Well… I mean… So far every time she’s come over we’ve always had threesomes. I can tell Isabela we’re all giving you a break for a bit, but that doesn’t mean -I- can’t keep having sex with her, right?”
Naimh and I both chuckled, and I nodded my agreement. “Sure.”
“But as far as Matty himself is concerned,” Naimh added, “we really will do a better job of managing your load. Three girlfriends plus Eva is all you really want to handle for now, right?”
“Please.”
Naimh smiled and leaned in to peck my lips. “See! Communication!”
I grinned and pecked her back. “Thanks for understanding.”
The most gorgeous thing I’d ever seen gave me a scintillating smile before bouncing away towards the Biology buildings. Belle then slid her small hand into mine for the journey that remained.
When we got to the plaza outside the auditorium, I squeezed Belle’s hand and turned to her, ready to give her a sweet kiss before patting her ass and sending her off to Chemistry. But just before we did, an ebulliently energetic voice called out, “¡Oye! Qué milagro!”
I turned just in time to see a busty brunette scampering across the plaza with her big boobies bouncing. Isabela crashed into my side, raised her right leg around my waist, grabbed my head, and promptly crammed her tongue down my throat. Thank you for another enjoyable chapter. I was happy to see our group solidify how they view their relationships and communicate how they should be happy with each other and not have to recruit new members to fill perceived holes in the ranks. New friends don’t have to be part of intimate fun time. It would be interesting to see Matt put Isabela in her place, but in my mind I see either Belle going into protective sister mode or Skylar stepping in to rein her in.
