Update on things again
🕑 Added 2015-08-28 07:44:52 +0000 UTC Just wanted to make sure you knew we weren't all dead!Cheshire is still steadily working on the demo, trying to get the stuff working in it in time for the end of the month, and Triangulate is pushing on ahead with the art for the Ice Level, etc.
On a completely (well, sorta) unrelated note, anyone know the best way to get oil out of bedsheets? If you remember, Cheshire had an allergy to his old bedsheets, so he bought new ones... that somehow, some way, in the packaging, were covered in a pool of an oily substance. I have no idea if this is something intended as a protectant that's intended to be washed off (some fancy clothes have this if I remember right), but yeah, it's weird either way.
So if anyone knows what's up with that, let us know!
Thanks again for being patient; we really do appreciate your support. Once this demo's out Cheshire will begin porting the game to C++, which, as I'm told, will make the game MUCH easier to program for. (If you're wondering why we didn't do this in the first place, it's because the basic assets of the game were easier to program with GameMaker as a shell.)

Dish soap is goot for removing oils. Heck I use it to clean miter oil and grit off my hands.

Have you tried turning the sheets off and on again?

Cat litter or oil dry on the sheets. That should pull out most of it, then hit the remainder with club soda for a few minutes, then wash.

If it's a lipid oil then regular detergent will be fine, as it's a surfactant. If it's a mineral oil, then detergent probably wouldn't hurt it either way.
Blackwater Syn
This may sound odd, but one of the best ways is to pour Coca cola on it. Let the stained portion rest in the cola for about an hour (don't let it dry) then wash the whole thing with baking soda and dish soap. It'll take it right out. Also, I stand by my statement that Cheshire has the worst luck of any being to grace this earth. I'm talking the embodiment of Murphy's Law, here. Keep him away from any and all sharp objects, strong breezes, active volcanoes, or large bodies of water.
