Comics - Ch14 12
🕑 Added 2015-03-06 18:07:20 +0000 UTC Chapter 14 Page 12 - http://bit.ly/17RBrxa Pages like these are where I really wish I could release Spellcross in a weekly or monthly format. Ideally this series of actions would've been about two pages, where Bram and Nell both visibly hold back from attacking while Briar is dangled over the Vine's gaping maw. I've learned when and where I can condense things like action and dialogue, though. Earlier chapters involving the first dungeon exam went on longer than they really should've because I kept the action at an "ideal" length instead of trying to condense. The result is that it reads really well, but it took more than half a year to complete that part of the story. Some might say the action feels rushed here, and I might agree, but it's a necessity for the story to keep chugging along. I really want to finish Spellcross before I die of old age, y'know?
