Seems like the browser's LocalStorage might be full. You can empty it manually (steps depend on your browser), or delete all cookies related to the game altogether. This is an external limitation on the engine and unfortunately there's no way around it for the moment, the number of saves you can use will depend on how "chunky" each individual save is.

having issues with saving, the quicksave slot stopped working after the 2nd use and after making 12 saves no more would be created.
