The end of the month is drawing near and it's been a while since I've last released a post, so I wanted to write you a quick one to let you know where we're at.
First of all, patch 0.3.13 is gearing for release and I'm currently crunching out final scenes and testing. Expect it to drop on the 31st so we can squeeze out as much of this month as possible for final polish that is still needed.
Also, I've been silent for a little longer than usual so I just wanted to share a little bit more of what's going on behind the scenes - very recently there have been some major changes in my life and me and my partner are expecting a child shortly. As a result I've had a little less time and energy to write than usual.
One of the things that is very important to me is to make sure that your support is put to good use to advance the project, and thankfully I'm not alone in this - much of the budget for May has been allocated to the artists, and we have the most substantial art update coming so far - with over 10 new pieces in total. The overall progression of the backgrounds is going very well, with very few places left in the world of Transylvania that don't yet have art for them.
We have also used the new layers and dynamic art system that was developed in the previous months to bring a new level of quality of art for the transformation scenes - you will see Alex dynamically reacting to dialogue with expressions, gestures and more, as the scene is unfolding.
It has been easier to sneak in windows of work for coding, so you will see that Feats (achievements) are back, with a new groundwork for tracking, as well as new icons!
Last but not least, work with the composer is continuing in parallel to all of this and we're adding new tracks and building on top of the sound system, which will be merged into the main branch later on.
I would also want to address some of the higher-tier backers that are still waiting for their awards - there will be some delay in the deliveries, which I apologize for. We have a list of everything pending and are trying to get around to it as quickly as we can.
On a final note for future patches - for the moment I do not foresee any major disruptions in the development road ahead, though it's possible that there will be other months where we focus on art and scene variations more so than long new story branches.

Thank you for the update and congratulations! Family comes first - especially around such an important time. Since I started following the progress of this project you and the team are very reliable, progress is being made eeeevery month. I really enjoy the HTML releases, self-hosted. Now I'm not a premium backer, just here to keep the caffein flow going so yeah, cannot wait! The dynamic system sounds promising, loved the addition of sound and music cues. =)
