＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
Hello! Thank you for your continued support 😊 March has flown by in no time.
Today, I’d like to share some updates on my recent activities and progress!
Recent Updates

This March, I focused a lot on creative work and put in a lot of effort into developing my doujin game!
I also drew over 10 illustrations, including manga pages, making it a very productive month. ✏️
It's been a month of quite a few illustrations, mainly for bruaka, but next month I'd like to try my hand at vtuber and other characters from other works.
I also have a subject box, so if there are any characters you like or would like me to draw, please let me know!
There are still many challenges ahead, but I’m making steady progress. I’ll keep working hard!
My Recent Drawing Techniques
＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
This time, I’d like to focus on the following three aspects:
Line Art Techniques
＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
To preserve the energy of the rough sketch, I try not to erase my initial lines completely.
After sketching the rough outlines, I lightly erase them with a brush or eraser, leaving a faint trace. Then, I use these remaining lines as a guide to draw the final outlines for the character’s body, hair, and facial features.
One important thing to keep in mind is that leaving too many rough lines can make the final drawing look messy. So, it's essential to refine them properly!
Coloring Adjustments
＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
Everyone has their own coloring preferences, but here’s how I approach shading:
１．First, I apply the base colors and then add shadows.
２．Next, I insert a slightly lighter color between the base color and the shadow to increase depth.
３．Adding a slightly more saturated color at the edges of the shadows can make the image pop even more.
This method adds more layers of color and helps create a richer, more detailed look. It’s also a technique that’s gaining popularity recently!
Time-Saving Tips
＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
One of the most important time-saving techniques is gathering references!
The difference between drawing without any references and having a clear idea of what you’re going to draw with proper reference materials is huge.
By checking poses, clothing designs, and lighting references beforehand, you can avoid hesitation and complete your artwork more efficiently!
Final Thoughts
＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿
At the end of the day, the most important thing is to enjoy drawing!
It’s natural to want to improve, but if you focus too much on getting better, you might lose the joy of creating art.
Drawing becomes more appealing when you express what you love.
Whether it’s your favorite character or a scene you adore, following your passion is what truly brings out the best in your work.
If you ever feel stuck, take a break from worrying about improvement and simply draw what makes you happy!
