Kaiju Slaying For Death And Profit Ch 35
🕑 Added 2025-10-26 04:33:07 +0000 UTCGood evening y'all.
Sorry for the late post. But I'm gonna be busy tomorrow from before sunup to after sundown.
I got to see that coming mind you, so I was able to write a solid chunk of this chapter during the week. But finishing the chapter and the finishing touches was a today thing.
As to the chapter. It is more setup, I'm hopeful I was able to make it interesting.
I am falling asleep where I sit, so I hope you lot will forgive me for cutting the top notes short. XD
Hope you enjoy the chapter, if you do, please let me know in a comment, or don't I'm not the boss of you. Stay safe out there.

Gendo ignored the disapproving stare of the doctor as he worked on a laptop.
He now sported a new liver, stomach, pancreas, fifteen feet of small intestine and three feet of large. He absently approved the cloning of a new replacement set. The current situation vindicating his decision to clone a set of organs and keep them in suspended animation.
The fact that he’d even needed to use this contingency was mortifying.
That the culprit had been Aida Hajime, one of the very technicians that worked for NERV, was an unconscionable blunder.
The man hadn’t said anything. He’d merely walked up to Gendo and unloaded the machine-pistol, not transferring the man after the death of Pilot 03 had been a massive oversight.
That said, if what he gleaned from reading between the lines of Fuyutsuki’s report was correct, then the assassination attempt had yielded the unlikely boon of throwing SEELE off the scent of what he was actually doing.
He absently made a note that the doctor would have to be bought out and insurance to ensure his silence secured. He was now aware of things he absolutely was not meant to.
He read through the findings of the changes to Unit 01 as well as the readings of the energy the Evangelion was now generating.
Now that Unit 01 had a core, it was only a matter of time before SEELE moved against him. The assassination attempt had bought him time, with some luck, they would not be able to move for a few months after the death of the final Angel.
But he doubted he would have that much luck.
Hmm…they were cutting NERV’s budget, nothing overt, NATO was still sending the same amount of money, but the various other shell companies they used to funnel money into NERV’s coffers were being ‘audited’ and their boards of directors were being found to have ‘embezzled’ hundreds of millions of Euros.
He readjusted his estimation of how much time he’d have to work with before their inevitable betrayal, and began reworking NERV’s budget to set some aside for the time where they inevitably cut all funding.
He could only wonder what hidden moves that ghostly third faction were preparing.

Ritsuko leaned back in her chair, sighed, and rubbed at eyes that felt like they had sand under the eyelids.
She’d gotten a whole six hours of sleep, intermittently interrupted by Unit 01 screaming and racking up the repair bill.
Curiously however, there had yet to be a fatality. At this point, she was forced to imagine that the Evangelion was actively trying to minimize the danger to human life in its constant attempts to escape confinement.
Which, considering that NERV had very carefully lobotomized any possibility of a higher thought process out of the damn thing, was utter nonsense.
An S2 drive would not fix that either, Unit 04’s computer-to-biological interference tissues did not regenerate the lobotomized tissues.
No, this was something else.
She stood up from her desk, stretched, and went to the pile of reports, pulling out the one explaining the ongoing efforts to reinstall Unit 01’s restraints. Efforts that were very much behind schedule as-
A too-human roar rumbled through the facility and alarms started ringing. She took a sip of her cold, stale coffee and continued reading.
Reattachment of the restraints were at a fifty-two percent completion, though most of the plates had to be modified as Unit 01 seemed to have gained anywhere from twenty-three to thirty-five percent more muscle mass since its battle against the Angel.
Which would explain the ease with which it kept breaking containment. Unfortunately, they couldn’t exactly upgrade the holding facilities and imperfectly contain Unit 01 at the same time.
Perhaps if they had Rei or Shinji pilot it while they made repairs?
Her door opened, she glanced at the door. “Ah, Maya, good morning.” She waved at a clear spot on her desk. “Leave those reports there, I’ll get to them when I can.”
Maya silently did as Ritsuko told her, she spent a few seconds tidying up the desk as she often did.
“Ritsuko?”
“Yes?”
The slap surprised her so much that she fell to the floor.
“Wha—?” The backhanded slap cut her off and disoriented enough to give Maya the opportunity to straddle her, a third slap rocking her world and leaving her ears ringing.
“Never again!” Maya shouted in Ritsuko’s face, her research assistant/secretary/understudy/star pupil’s spittle spattering Ritsuko’s cheeks. “Did you hear me!? Never again!”
“I—?” Ritsuko was cut off by a second backhanded slap. Feeling starting to return, her face aflame and stinging simultaneously.
“You don’t ever speak to Rei again without me being present!” Maya shouted.
Slap.
“You will never be in the same room as her without me being present!”
Slap!
“You will do no medical procedures on her without running them by me first! I will administer whatever care she needs!”
Slap!
“You will not hurt Rei ever again! Do you hear me!?”
Maya, thankfully, stopped hitting her, giving Ritsuko time to blink away the stars in her eyes, swallow the blood in her mouth from the cut in her inner cheek, and overall regain some semblance of her wits. “What?”
That, apparently, had been the wrong thing to say, as Maya gave an uncharacteristic growl and slapped her again.
“Stop hitting me!” Ritsuko screeched, finally bringing her arms up to defend herself, only for Maya to stand up and back away from her, breathing heavily. “Maya, what the hell!? Whatever Rei told you—”
“Don’t you dare deny anything!” Maya hissed, pointing a finger at Ritsuko’s nose. “That girl couldn’t lie to save her life!”
Okay…yeah, Maya had a point there
“God! I had to coax what you did out of her!” Maya ranted as she started pacing. “Years of abuse, and the moment she says no the first thing you do is, is!” with a scream, Maya picked up Ritsuko’s coffee mug and threw it at the wall, shattering it.
“M-Maya, I—”
“She begged for your life!” Maya snarled, bringing Ritsuko up short. “She implored me not to tell Mister Shinji out of fear of what he would do to you if he found out! I…I…!”
Maya angrily wiped the tears from her eyes. “You are far too important to NERV for Shinji to find out what you’ve done. You are needed, humanity needs you, but you will not, ever, do anything to Rei again. If you must do any medical procedure whatsoever to her, it will be run by me first and I will be present for it! If you need to speak to her, you go to me first! I refuse to give you another such opportunity!”
Ritsuko’s mouth flapped open and closed several times as Maya turned her back and marched for the door. “M-Maya wait, I…I’m…”
Maya paused at the door and threw a truly disdainful look at Ritsuko over her shoulder.
“You are not the woman I thought you were.”
With that, Maya left Ritsuko’s office.
Those words, somehow, hurt a lot more than all of the times Maya hit her combined.

Kaworu watched as Shinji’s and Rei’s woman marched out of Doctor Akagi’s office, her back straight, her soul burning with righteous rage and terrible indignation.
He watched as the rage slowly cooled and only the despondent betrayal which once fueled it remained.
He watched as she found an isolated corner, and wept, the choked silence of her tears belying the depths of the sorrow that wrenched them from her.
He watched, enraptured, as the woman mourned not for Doctor Akagi, but for the idea of who she had thought Doctor Akagi to be. She castigated herself for not realizing her mentor’s true nature and allowing something she believed unconscionable to go on for years, right beneath her nose. The righteous rage returned for a few seconds before being drowned in sorrow.
He found tears burning at the corners of his eyes. Her sorrow, for some reason, being mirrored in himself. And in a stupor, Kaworu found himself walking forward and sitting next to her, and hesitantly reaching out before slowly and gently rubbing her back, the action drawing ever more heaving sobs from her.
So this is what sorrow felt like.
Fascinating.
He was struck with the sudden epiphany that this was why Lilin were so adept at knowing what other Lilin felt, merely by looking at them. A sympathetic reaction that recreated what another felt. What innovative answer to a problem that would plague something so numerous as the Lilin.
And to think that even with such an ability, such an unmatched power, they still killed each other for three million years before an outside threat unified them. At least temporarily.
A species of contradictions, the Lilin.
“I’m sorry, Mister Nagisa.” Maya said, swallowing her tears and putting on a brave face while her soul still wailed under the yoke of an agonizing wound. “I guess I’m not being a very reliable adult.”
He could see the struggle of her soul, how hard she tried to suppress her pain for his benefit, not her own.
Beautiful.
“No, Miss Ibuki.” Kaworu said, his lips stretching into what may well be the first genuine smile he’s ever made. “You are the most reliable adult I’ve ever met.”
She barked a very unladylike laugh, then fell to giggles, holding her sides as mirth and grief battled to be the source of fresh tears.
But, eventually, mirth won out, and her soul scabbed over the wound that had been rent into it and began the process of healing. The tears and sorrow until now having drained the poison that had threatened to mar the woman’s soul. Something he was certain she would have managed largely on her own, yet the fact that his aid, minute as it had been, had helped her reach this conclusion, filled his chest with an alien warmth, but one that he found himself he welcomed gladly.
It made for a striking contrast to the sorrow he had felt earlier.
And Kaworu Nagiza, no…Tabris realized, he wanted more.
“If I may be excused, Miss Ibuki.” He said, pushing himself to his feet. “I need to be elsewhere.”
“R-Right.” She said. “Be safe!”
Her wish for his safety made him smile. “A question if I may?”
She blinked, wiping her tears to give him more of her attention. “Yes?”
“If you wanted to help ease people’s suffering, where would you go to do that?” Tabris asked.
Maya blinked a few times before answering. “Ah…well, Tokyo 3 has a fairly high standard of living overall, but there are a number of homeless shelters for people who were the most negatively affected by the Angel attacks.” She tilted her head. “You could…try volunteering in one of those? They are always short of hands, or so I hear.”
“I see, thank you for the information.” He said, nodding at her and walking away.

Maya walked to Mister Shinji’s infirmary room with a sigh. The palm and back of her hand still stung from her…altercation with Ritsuko that morning. If she wasn’t careful, she would find herself falling apart again, and Rei needed her to be strong.
The sight she found in the room elated and confused her.
Mister Shinji, his back to the corner of the room, pointing accusingly at Rei, who sat on the side of his bed, her head tilted questioningly.
“Maya!” He hissed; the look he sent her way was filled with equal amounts of trepidation, suspicion, and desperate hope. Quite the strange mix. “Tell me something about yourself I don’t know!”
She blinked and tilted her head back a little. “Umm…I really like mochi?”
His eyes narrowed suspiciously and he began muttering. “A likely fact, but far too generic. It could have rifled through my memories and seen that Maya has a sweet tooth, and from there extrapolated that someone with a sweet tooth will like mochi, the real question is if it has the capacity to link the concept of ‘sweet food’ with ‘someone with a sweet tooth might like this sweet food’ which in turn…”
She stared as Mister Shinji muttered with clear paranoia.
Judging that it would be bad for morale if people saw Mister Shinji in his current state, Maya closed the door behind her and walked forward until she could join Rei. “Sooooo…Rei?”
“Shinji woke up and cannot discern if his current reality is indeed reality. While battling the last Angel, during that time that he was unconscious, the Angel fabricated a dream that was seemingly indistinguishable from reality and created convincing facsimiles of us and the people at NERV, fooling Shinji into remaining under its control.” Rei took a deep breath and continued. “His subconscious realized something was wrong, he woke up and killed the Angel. But because he lost consciousness, he cannot currently ascertain the same thing didn’t happen.”
“I see.” Maya said, scratching her chin. “What to do in this situation…?”
Maya decided that, as with anything that has to do with the subject of dealing with Angels. It was best to pull a Mister Shinji.
“Mister Shinji. I’m pregnant.”
Do something completely unreasonable that will shock anyone who witnesses it into silence.
Judging by the fact that he stopped muttering and his eyes went wide as saucers…success!
“Now that I have your attention.” She said walking toward him. “I’m not actually pregnant. I’ve kept track of my cycles and I have not been ovulating while we have been…active.” She definitely caught some relief as well as a flash of disappointment from him. “I’m also aware that I should be about to come around to that window where that could happen, so if you want to continue doing what you’ve been doing, you’re going to have to start wearing protection.” She reached him, pressed her front to his hard, muscular chest, crossed her arms behind his head, and stood on the tips of her toes, pulling down so he’d duck enough for her to plant a quick kiss on his lips. “Or we just won’t do anything vaginal, I have been getting a lot of practice with my tongue, you know.”
She ended her short monologue by sticking her tongue out playfully. She could feel his very quickly stiffening member pushing against her stomach, a consistent heat that demanded her attention. She felt her cheeks warming at the very obvious sign of his desire for her.
She got back on her tip toes and licked his lips. “Still not sure if you’re dreaming?”
He growled, sweeping her off her feet and kissing her deeply, she twined her tongue around his, moaning quietly into his mouth as his tongue pressed various places in her mouth, she felt Rei’s delicate hands at work as Maya was divested of her belt, pants, and underwear, and soon after Mister Shinji’s thick, strong fingers filled her while Rei’s slender digits played with her clit.
Under their combined onslaught, it was not long before Maya shuddered through an orgasm, mewling into his mouth as neither of them stopped their fingers, extending the climax until it became nearly painful, her love juices streaming out of her pussy and making a complete mess on her thighs.
One bewildering series of events later, Maya found herself on her back, laying across Mister Shinji’s bed, his cock pumping slowly into and out of her mouth while he played with her breasts, his testicles coming to rest against her nose over and over as she swallowed him to the base every time he pushed into her throat, all the while Rei lapped up the slickness on Maya’s thighs, cleaning them thoroughly before diving eagerly into Maya’s snatch, making her shudder, her toes curling as her hands bunched up on the bed’s blanket.
It was a good thing Mister Shinji had remembered what she said about only doing oral until he got some condoms, because she absolutely would not have denied him if he demanded to fill her as he normally would.

Asuka silently swallowed the spit pooling in her mouth, her eyes riveted to the sight before her. Her plan to chat with Rei while she waited for her boyfriend to wake up was quite thoroughly abandoned.
She knew she should close the door, walk away, do anything other than stand in front of this small crack on the door and watch as Shinji oh-so-gently fucked the analyst’s throat while Rei ate her out.
If Hikari were here, she’d probably scream about it being indecent. And there was definitely a better time and place for what they were doing.
She watched as Shinji pushed forward to the base and stayed there, the woman’s throat working eagerly as she swallowed over and over, her body shuddering, her legs crossing around Rei’s head while her back arched as she very clearly came and came hard. And all the while her throat worked on Shinji until he grunted and shuddered through an orgasm of his own.
She thought that would be it, but then he and Rei swapped places, Shinji all but lifting the woman’s hips so he could dive between her legs and begin eagerly licking while Rei held the woman’s head, stared into her eyes, at her flushed face and teary eyes, then tenderly kissed her, the kiss quickly deepening, Asuka could see the tongues of both of them darting out and all but caressing each other, the woman shuddering as that brute ravaged her pussy with seemingly wild abandon.
And yet…And yet Asuka could not look away.
Yet another place that Shinji had succeeded where she had failed, what with the way the older woman had all but worshiped his penis as he fucked her throat.
Not to mention that Asuka had seen pure carnal lust before, she knew what that looked like. And while there was definitely a lot of that on display, there was an undercurrent in the interaction that made her chest hurt and her heart race with want and need.
She felt like a woman dying of thirst who was forced to watch an oasis, placed just out of reach.
She knew she should leave.
But, as Rei held the older woman through another orgasm, as Shinji placed his cock across the lips of her pussy, then pushed her legs together so he could pump his hips and use her thighs to masturbate, as she changed her position to bring more of her sex into contact with Shinji, as fingers intertwined and quiet sighs were exchanged and pants were swallowed and moans were suppressed.
Asuka couldn’t.
She couldn’t bring herself to stop looking at that which she desperately yearned for.
So she stood at the door, and in between keeping an eye out for the medical staff, she watched.

Maya is based. I love how she slapped Ritsuko repeatedly, kek. The scene that came after was also peak~ Damn shame Maya didn't get pregnant though... Although, is Rei aware of her own cycles? And if she is, will she even give a headsup to Shinji? 🤔
