🕑 Added 2025-03-21 20:25:27 +0000 UTC
Hey all - it’s time for the Demo Update! The content we showed off in the previous demo has changed a LOT, so we figured it’d be useful to put out an updated and accurate-to-current-gameplay demo for you all to mess with.

Here's a list of what to look out for!
Jumping! You can jump now! Just press space!
We’ve added all the guns intended for final release. The player would usually get most of these weapons at later levels, so they’ll feel overpowered in the demo levels, but should be just right for some of the content in our new Challenge Mode.
The shotgun mechanics have changed significantly - the main attack is a short-range scattershot and the secondary shot is a single, powerful glob of cookie dough.
The balancing for ALL of the guns has changed as well - the primary shot no longer requires ammo, only the secondary shot does. This is the most major shift in our overall attempt to re-balance the difficulty of the game.
We’ve also taken a number of other steps to change the game difficulty, including things like changing which enemies show up where.
The Codex is now viewable in the menu - check your phone apps once you pick up a collectible codex card!
We’ve got a good demonstration of character customization - not all the outfits are unlocked yet, but you should be able to change some of your clothes, your body, and your coloration.
To complement this, we can also now show off our first person player view - so when you look down, you’ll see your belly (and tits, if you chose to have them).
Your gun hand now matches your skin tone!
We’ve done a major overhaul on the Fatty’s, Farm, and Park levels, including new areas within these levels, new puzzles, and new collectibles for each.
The Battle Buffet is playable! Fight off waves of enemies to get at the food they’re guarding.
We also have new Challenge Mode levels available to access from the dev tools accessible from the pause menu.

Now we do have some questions for you to help us make the game more fun, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on some of these:
What are your thoughts on the difficulty changes? What setting did you play the game at, and how did you like the normal difficulty? If you found it too easy, was the challenge mode too easy too?
How did you like the guns? Did you have a favorite? Do you wish any of them worked differently?
We’re trying to rebalance the game around the ammo changes especially - let us know how it’s working out, whether or not you like it, if it makes the game feel too easy or if you think something’s been lost with this change, etc.
Do you have any new - or old - favourite characters in the demo? Our writers are standing together looking up at you with puppy-dog eyes. Aww, look, they’re shivering.
Did you find any bugs to report? Our producer’s esoteric gameplay habits catch many, but not all.
Do you have any additional feedback? Comment below!
If you do run into issues PLEASE fill out a bug report form!

We have no plans to release to Steam at this time. We've been asked this a lot and will look into it! but right now we're just focusing on getting the game done.
