I’m with you. And it does have some really good action bits as well. I understand the preference of sticking to the fantasy swordplay setting instead of the more modern shooter like Gun Gale, but the story itself is more important and SAO S2 has good story.

all the people saying to skip s2 of SAO are smoking CRACK and they just want to see cool action shit. SAO S2 has some of the hardest hitting emotional beats i've ever seen in anime.
