The Gluttonous Gourmand

After quite a close co-op call of a blue lizard nearly taking out one of the two slugcats, we witness a very heavy Gourmand still not able fill their entire hunger bar with their well earned catch. Thankfully, there's a perfect 5 remaining hunger points standing just nearby...
Glad I ended up shading this, but sorta disappointed I didn't have enough motivation to do background elements... It was already taking forever, and I just didn't have it in me anymore XD
I think the picture came out really well though! I think if I do anymore slugcat stuff in the future, I'd prefer to make it a lot brighter. The characters lend themselves into being a bit more cartoony in a 2D style, so I figure a flatter, brighter pallete without intense shading would be more beneficial to making the pic nicer.
I still had fun though. :3c
