Ugggggh, I've been having a shit winter, there's been non-stop chaos in my life all winter that keeps getting in the way of art~ I'm so sorry~! ;3; I've gotten the handle on enough of it that I was unstressed enough to start a new sketch this morning~! ^u^ I keep starting drawings and not finishing them, I know~ I'm sorry, it's a side-effect of really disliking my art right now, nothing is coming out as good as I want it to~ I really appreciate you guys telling me to chill out and take a break, and I have been trying to~ But I didn't want to leave you guys hanging for too long~ >3< So thank you so much for being understanding, I hope I can break out of this art cocoon soon and become a beautiful art moth who can draw better~ ^U^
Anyway~! I wanted to start this year off with a bang, so I finally did sketch of Linty X Dusty~ >w< They have fairly similar proportions so I wanted to depict them together to kinda highlight the differences~ I'm not really finished with the linework at all, but I figured you guys might wanna see it anyway~
I think this is gonna be a bench at the mall or something, somewhere public because that's hot to me~~ ^3^ Dusty doesn't give any shits about hanging dong in public, and Linty loses all judgement when she gets hot and bothered~ >w< I imagine this is maybe the first time they met and they couldn't resist each other~ Don't take the canon on this too serious, I just really wanted to draw them together, I'll figure out the lore some other day~ >w< All's I know is that Dusty is another power-bottom like Fuchsia, Linty has a type~~~

It's a shame, because I like your character design and your color palette, for it i think your current style is quite adequate.... And even if it's hard for you to find time to draw... as long as you keep doing them (draw), I'll try to stay here. And of sketches that you start and don't finish... believe me I know that very well.

Your comment just here about an art epiphany... Maybe it's just time to start recognising how to feel better about your art? There's a long way to have gone to get from where you started to where you are now. This is a really good pic. It's well considered, it's cute as heck, the composition is nice, the before and after look great (and can be extended). There's a lot to admire here. I'm admiring it. You should let yourself do the same. Find new opportunities for improvement where you can, but take the time to acknowledge your skills, your efforts, your imagination, that went into each drawing you do, and to give yourself a true and admiring "Fuck yeah, this is awesome and *I* am awesome." every time. I can assure you that you deserve it.

This is an excellent way to start the new year. Public stuff is great and Linty and Dusty are two of my fav characters. I know you feel like you're in a slump but you always think of the best ideas and manage to pull them off. I'll always enjoy your stuff.

I've always gone through cycles of loving then hating my art~ Even before I ever showed the first stuff online~ It's sorta normal to me~ lol~ >w< When I love my art, I can do a lot of it very fast~ but there's an upside the hating-in phase, too, it forces me to improve it to a point where I like it again. So I'm not depressed about it, it's more that I'm impatient to figure out the breakthrough that'll get me past that~ >o< That's why I keep starting new drawings, I'm trying to kickstart an art-epiphany~

Excellent stuff, Linty. Super casual stuff, but obviously getting the two of them extremely hot and bothered. What more could one ask for? Sorry to hear you're not feeling happy with much of your art at the moment. Maybe post a few scrapped wips here and we can tell you how wrong you were?

Just try to remember how you were doing art when you were 16 and putting out the first volume of the comic. You probably weren't concerned about how people would receive it, you just thought it was neat
