Finalization of Sunny Coast College
🕑 Added 2020-04-24 21:31:35 +0000 UTCIt's been a year since I released the first (and buggy) version of Sunny Coast College. It's been a wonderful year for me and I hope the same applies to you.
However, even though SCC kickstarted my Patreon, it is a flawed game. It is the first game I ever created, it was buggy and full of messy code. Really not a good experience developing it. For this reason, I am planning to finalize the story as soon as possible and leave it behind. The last version of Sunny Coast College, SCC 2.0, will drop in May. The game will receive no more updates after this. Puppies will receive their Early Access a little bit before the others as normal.
The plan ahead is to focus on Domina for some months afterwards, dropping updates steadily every 30 days. The next Domina update will drop in June. I also plan to focus a month every couple of months on revamping old dominas and giving them new scenes, the first of such revamps is coming right after the fart domme. This will include brand new scenes mainly for Katrina and Madeline, but also Narcissa and Mary. It's content that was asked for a lot and I'm happy to provide it for you.
As for SCC, I still like the concept behind the game and I would love to develop a main title (Domina) along with a secondary game that will include more extreme content like SCC was. For this reason, I am thinking of rebooting SCC in a new and clean kind of way, in a whole new visual novel type of game, featuring the same girls with all new CGs and content. Still, it will have to wait until after summer, as I'd like to focus on Domina for some time. I will make a poll about this later on, but you can let me know of your opinions in the comments as well.

Sadly no, I'm just going to close off all the endings with any of the 5 girls (Nicole/Ariah/Gwen/Laura/Ivy) you have played with so far. I will however add such content from the getgo if I am to turn SCC into a visual novel ;).

I am planning to close off every path with multiple endings as originally planned, I wouldn't just leave you all with a cliffhanger lol. I just don't have the patience to fix all the broken alternate paths, but there might be something to be done about it later on. ;)

You are supposed to lose a bunch of times to each Domina to gather Foreign Soul Shards which act as currency. Use the Foreign Soul Shards to buy new equipment and potions from the Reaper. Always save 7 Foreign Soul Shards to refill YOUR OWN Soul Shards in the purple lake in the starting location. If you run out of your own Soul Shards (you can check how many you have left in your inventory - key items) you will lose the game.
Are you planning on finishing the story of SCC or just basically abandoning it with a few bug fixes? Personally, I'd love it if you gave it a good send-off and at least finished out all the story routes in one major update. For once in it's lifetime, Domina can be put on hold to at least finish it's progenitor.

This is good news, I feel Sunny Side would work much better as a visual Novel. Right now theres a lot of pointless back and forth and it's a buggy mess. Still I love the writting and there is clear effort put in. I think you are making the right choice.

Try talking to the reaper. He gives pretty good advice, and he sells the things you need to follow that advice. Also, shadowbound is very helpful up until Mary.

yo man any tips for progessing through domina i can barely make it past the first domain and then immediately get killed by the second I really wanna see the others but cant coz I keep dying

A couple things to maybe consider from a design perspective would be an opt in system for some of the extreme stuff. Fetish content is very niche, and everyone has different tastes. Also, in visual novel type games, a skip forward feature is important I think, at least when it needs multiple runs to see everything.
