FF8 Remastered - DEMASTER Update

I am very aware of some loading/paging lag when some of the mods load.
The first 'fix' that is recommended is to put your game on an SSD instead of an HDD due to the nature of PNG loading/decoding. This will fix most of the lag, but some of you do not have access to an SSD!
I wanted a better fix, so I approached TrueOdin of FFNx acclaim for help in being able to implement DDS files rather than PNG files. DDS files load straight from the game's memory rather than having to be 'converted' like pngs in order to be read by your GPU, so they load INCREDIBLY fast!
Since I want everyone to be able to use these mods, We will have several workarounds:
1. Move your game to an SSD (if you can)
2. Use the DDS versions of the mods
3. Still lagging/stuttering? Load a lower resolution version of the mod (4x battlefields/cards instead of 8x - available soon)
Thanks to TrueOdin of FFNx acclaim, we currently have a Debug Alpha build of the DEMASTER that allows for use of DDS files, but ONLY for Battlefields and the World Textures! This does not currently work for field backgrounds (which are the main concern for most users) or for cards or field model textures.
I will keep posting updates as we are able to implement more DDS textures! Once we can use dds with field backgrounds, I will do everything I can to release a build ASAP, as well as texture packs to the modding community!

As soon as there is an official release of the newer demaster tool that reads dds files, I'll release the packs!
