HorizonPack - Ultima: Remastered v1.a is HERE!
For Remastered version ONLY: for use with DEMASTER Mod Tool
- Full world textures overhaul using AI Upscaling and Custom texturing by MCINDUS
- Textures double the size from last mod! Now 8x original game textures!
- ULTIMA textures used from Angelwing and Battlefield Pack as well!
-(Vehicles, Sky, and Ocean TBA, as DEMASTER does not yet have this functionality)

The last version of this mod received several complaints that it was too far from the original Vanilla game textures, so I did my best in this release to maintain the look and feel of the original Vanilla game, while completely overhauling everything!

This mod is the final mod installment for the new Lunatic Pandora Ultima Modpack! Now that it is complete, I will be finishing completing the installer for LPU:R!

The discord is active as well as a few fixes for specific packs are posted. From what I understand development has been slowed due to IRL circumstances but the discord is still somewhat active.

When I Attempted this i get an error on launch. Says "Cant Launch config.txt. then crashes. worked on pc efore copying over files and over writing. are there additiona steps to get this working on steam deck?

Thank you very much for this! It never crossed my mind to just transfer over the installation from my PC. Next step finding a way to make it widescreen or removing the black bars around it.

@Dr3 I got my Steam Deck recently. I just installed FF8 Remastered via Steam on the deck and then copied over my previously modded game folder (about 20 GB with Demastered, Upscaled FMVs, Angelwing Ultima, BattlefieldPack, HorizonPack) from my Desktop PC to the Steam Deck. You could basically replace the whole game folder or keep the vanilla files as backup. Backup is probably not really necessary though, since the "vanilla" steam installation size is less than 3 GB. So you can always reinstall it quite fast anyway. You will have to add the following launch command as well: export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b"; %command% I made 2 photos of the unmodded and modded version on the Steam Deck: https://imgur.com/a/Knc5NsR It's worth noting that the game has one issue. If you use the sleep mode on the deck while the game is running, after wake up it will crash if you open the menu. So it's necessary to avoid the sleep mode. That is not an issue caused by any mods though.
