🕑 Added 2024-01-22 22:27:08 +0000 UTCSo I’m not going to share this with Twitter but the short of it is my job is falling apart. My friend and boss are leaving and that means only 3 people will be left in our department. 1 of those 3 is threatening to leave unless he gets paid more and they just aren’t adding new people fast enough. I’m really stressed out because I was applying with my friends to leave with them but they completely ignored my application so I’m stuck here with no better prospect of a job. I’m either going to stay underpaid with a TON of extra work not to mention training the new people if they get added on. It’s been a lot and the only other frightening option is to quit and look for different work. Which would leave me completely dependent on patreon and commissions in the meantime while I work. I genuinely don’t know what to do and I’m caught with my back against the wall not knowing when or how this is going to play out. So I’m sorry I’m not posting as frequently as I would want but I’m genuinely trying but it’s gotten so scary that I’m just nervous of being unemployed and trapped with even more on my plate. I’m trying to sort it out as I go and tbh there’s more layers to this that have severely affected my emotional/physical health. I try not to let it overwhelm me but it can be isolating and nerve racking to sort some days. I just wanted to offer up some transparency on what my day to day is going like. I will continue to post and share art here and try my best to keep some updates around to keep everyone in the loop.

this is not something you should apologise for. life will always be unexpected and full of twists and turns with ups and downs. all you should do is focus on finding a way to get another job when you can without the stress on having to rely on patreon and commissions only. take care of yourself as you should always come first. activity here can always wait.
