This was fun, a blast from the past for sure! Gallows Pole and Hats Off (just because of how weird it is) are two of my favorites from Zeppelin III.

A full album reaction to Physical Graffiti would be cool!

Although I knew of LZ as they became popular, I was more into the prog bands of the early 70s. The first Zeppelin album I bought was IV, then II and 'Houses Of The Holy'. But then I managed to score a ticket to one of their gigs at Earls Court, London in 1975 and I was blown away. My favourite Led Zeppelin moment though is Jimmy Page's violin bow solo on 'Dazed and Confused' in the 'Song Remains The Same' movie. To see (and hear on the live album) that for the first time is amazing. It's funny, but I love their music much more now, in my late 60s, than I did in my 20s! Great reaction. Thanks as always guys.

Great song when I first saw them in 75 I couldn’t believe they they sat on stools and did this an a couple of other acoustic songs I was 16 and my mind was blown πŸ˜‚

Tangerine is a drink of sunshine dappled with the shade of leafy trees and a cool breeze. LED ZEP III was deliberately designed to show some versatility from the boys. Lots of acoustic guitar to balance the electric blues style developed on their first two albums, tho they throw in a couple goodies like that, too. Debra has it right about the country feel to this record, maybe English countryside filtered through their love of American music styles. LZ have many great deep cuts, as evidenced by Physical Graffiti, of which half are songs recorded earlier that didn't make it onto previous albums....Rock On!

Apparently, "Tangerine" was an old song Page had still from his days with The Yardbirds, but only finished with Led Zeppelin.

Time the two of you do a road trip holliday through California πŸ˜„ Great you look at Led Zeppelin III. It's an unfairly underrated album between II and IV.

Greybeard Music Man

I just have to say Physical Graffiti was Zeppelin at their best!

Good to go πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ½
