December Updates and New Mods

Hi All,
Hope you're getting into the holiday season as we start to approach the end of the year. I have some new mods just in time as we start thinking about the new year and new Sims. I also have mod updates to share. Sorry for this wall of text :)
Public Releases
BG Health System, Pet Careers, and Culinary Curator Aspiration are now all public.
Public Mod Updates
Custom Nuptials - Updated commodities for game bug. Created updated compatibility with new version of SimNation Travel.
Dental Care- I finally figured out the issue with the teething tablets. Finally. I have also made my own toddler teething buff so in order for your toddlers to teeth you no longer need an external mod but those teething buffs are still recognized by this mod.
Dynamic Teen Life - Added separate version of the Activities module that does not require tryouts. Fixed an incorrect reference in Popularity module. Created updated compatibility with new version of SimNation Travel.
Education Overhaul - Occult schools now public. Fixed an issue with the APP taken loot. Preschool, Prom, Graduation, Field Trips, and School Dances are now full rabbit holes. Skill and Character value gains while at school now a separate optional module.
Entertainer Career- Fixed a career UI issue with a promotion requirement on one of the career levels.
Eye Care - Updated commodities for game bug.
Family Therapy - Added compatibility for Sim Image self-esteem.
GTW Health Overhaul - Updated commodities for game bug.
Healthcare Redux - Fixed an issue with sims being stuck in doctor's appointments. Minor bug fixes. Updated commodities for game bug. Added compatibility for Sim Image.
HSY Tweaks - Fixed an issue with a blank language string instancein Shop for Prom . This should fix a conflict.
Preteen Mod - Updated commodity for game bug.
Psychic Connections - Fixed an incorrect reference.
Simston Private School - Your sims should now quit EA schools when enrolling.
Youth and Family Activities - Expanded the options of who can go on activities. Created updated compatibility with new version of SimNation Travel.
Writer and Writing Career Overhaul - Updated commodity for game bug. Bug fixes.
Patreon Mod Updates
Just two patron updates and I'll post the new mods in early access on this page as well.
Healthcare Redux - Fixed an issue with sims being stuck in doctor's appointments. Redid the whole appointment system to better setup accompanying sims to visits. Added new cheats to toggle enabling and disabling mod deaths per sim or household as opposed to a global file setting for all played sims. Plane crashes and car accidents no longer require SimNation Travel but if you have it, SimNation will take precedence. Minor bug fixes. Updated commodities for game bug.
SimNation Travel -This mod, by request, is now modular. I have separated out the parts that require packs to make that easier, as well as separating domestic travel from international travel. I've also added an optional module that preassigns sims in the active household licenses if they're over YA and subway passes to each household member upon loading the household to help ease the bar for setup when using the mod. There's an additional optional module which does this same thing for passports.
"New Year, New Sim" Mod Pack
So New Year's is a holiday, right? I know, you were probably thinking of a more traditional holiday mod and I started one, but this is where my inspiration ended up being fulfilled. This ballooned from one small mod into four separate mods of varying degrees. That's what happens with anything that requires creativity - sometimes you have to go where the inspiration takes you.
Self-Help Activities (Free) Small mod that allows your sims to read self-help e-books on the tablet and attend self-help seminars on the phone under Social. These will count towards a new resolution. They can help sims to deal with their emotions, self-esteem and self-image, and disorders.
More Resolutions (Early Access Ends Jan 10)
Now your sims can have 9 additional resolutions to fulfill the resolution holiday tradition. New resolutions include: Adopt a Pet, Donate Money/Knittables, Get Engaged, Get Married, Get Pregnant, Meet New People, Travel, Read More, and Mental Health activities.
Sim Image (Early Access Ends Jan 10)
This turned out to be a HUGE project I wasn't anticipating when I started it but it is finished. In line with one of the things people do for New Year's it seemed like the right time. Now your sims can opt for cosmetic surgery. Sims will consult with a cosmetic surgeon and get feedback on the pros and cons to their surgery. They can experience recovery times/pain, and disappointment or pleasure with their changed look.
Self-Image and self-esteem was a big part of this mod. Sims can have low self esteem, normal self-esteem, and high self-esteem. This feeds into and is influenced by a Sim's self-image. Sims can have a negative self image, neutral self image, or positive self image.
Sims with negative self-image and/or self-esteem can develop Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Anorexia, or Bulimia. Sims with body and eating disorders can, with therapy, support groups, self-help books and research, medication, and/or surgery, overcome their disorder and improve their self-image and self-esteem. They can experience periods of recovery and relapse. Even after cosmetic surgery, they can still struggle with their negative perceptions. Sims with positive self image can over time develop negative self image depending on their age, gender, and traits. This is based on if your sim's self-esteem. As self-esteem is boosted over time Sims can feel better about their self image and insecurity and even overcome it.
Personal Hygiene (Early Access Ends Jan 10)
This isn't exactly related to the new year but as I was doing the simplexes, I was inspired (it's really crazy how many mods are made on inspired motivation) to add a simple hygiene system to the game as a way to help sims take better care of themselves. I have many mods, including my own, that cover these aspects separately but I wanted one mod to handle it. It covers simple dental hygiene, hand hygiene, and body hygiene. If you wanted those features but didn't want big mods like Dental Care or Preteens, this is for you!
Project Updates
I am still working on the Neurodiversity Mod. However, in all likelihood as this month ramps up for the holidays it will most likely be pushed back to January. In addition, I hope to have the Teen Runaway Scenario and Delinquency mods released either at the end of this month or in January as well. I might have one more mod request I might be able to fulfill before the end of the year. We shall see!
The four new mods and all the other mod updates above took way, way more time and energy than I anticipated and my eyes need a screen rest. So sorry for the delay but I really want to make sure I get my mods right and I don't want to rush through them as that doesn't feel fair to me nor to you but I'm hopeful. We shall see what winter magic I'm able to produce in the next couple weeks! At the very least I hope to have some WIP updates for you on either front.
