ARIES Sketches

Some ideas ended up changing with Time.
Originally I had planned to add some characteristics of ram in the Guy (like the emblematic horns), however this idea ended up being discarded, both by the headache that could be in relation to other signs to come, and by the feeling that this detail could exaggerate the work in a caricature way.
There was also the idea of introducing the element of Fire around the character, since this is the element of this Sign.
However, the presence of the Ram behind, plus the stars, and the whole gesture of the body... it seemed to me that the Fire would only make the image more noisy... and ended up being left aside.
In the end, I bet on a cleaner Guy, standing alone in a starry sky, illuminated by his constellation and sign.

Oh My, my, my! Thanks you So much my Sweet! And yes, I thought it would be interesting to contextualize a little bit of the "reasons" behind the artwork. Bah ... I'm also "tri ansioso" to make the other Signs. I hope that the arts of this Year to come will please you my Dear. Oh yes, and possibly there will be other artworks as well, besides those from the COSMOS Project, so... stay tuned ;)
