What are the plans for the Arena?
In the original scenario battles should be every night during the week and then mini-bosses and bosses at the weekend.
Roughly:
6 regular fights, mini-boss, 6 regular fights, mini-boss, 6 regular fights, boss.
So 1 boss every 3 weeks. There should be 4 bosses in total.
4*3*7 = 84 fights a day and 84 days to go!
If you think that's too much, you're right.
I have decided to cut the whole thing down by removing the regular fights.
There will be one regular battle in the beginning, and then just mini-bosses and bosses.
In the end, there should be about 10 battles.
What will the battles be like?
We have a small card battle system, but it is designed for technicians, and the arena is all melee.
Some ref was found for the battles.
But there are only four buttons in the same places. It's kind of boring.
How about making the buttons appear in random places?
Hmm, this reminds me of something.
It took a few hours to make a prototype and the ability to plug in files from osu!

Perhaps this is what boss battles will look like))
I'm not sure what it will look like in the final version yet. Maybe add a character sprite to the background and have the circles appear somewhere on his body, like you're hitting these parts.
Or make several phases in the fight and it would be just one of them.

Какие у нас планы на Арену?
В изначальном сценарии бои должны быть каждый вечер в течении недели, а на выходных должны быть мини-боссы и боссы.
Примерно так:
6 обычных боёв, мини-босс, 6 обычных боёв, мини-босс, 6 обычных боёв, босс.

Решили сократить всё это дело, убрав обычные сражения.
Одно обычное сражение будет в начале, а потом только мини-боссы и боссы.
В итоге должно получится что-то в районе 10 боёв.
Как будут выглядеть сами бои?
У нас есть небольшая карточная боевая система, но она рассчитана на техники, а на арене только рукопашные бои.
Был найден вот такой реф для боёв.
Но тут всего 4 кнопки в одинаковых местах. Как-то скучновато.
А что если сделать, чтобы кнопки появлялись в случайных местах?
Хм, что-то это напоминает.
За несколько часов был сделан прототип и возможность подключать файлы от osu!

Возможно так будут выглядеть битвы с боссами))
Пока точно не знаю, как это будет выглядеть в финальной версии. Может добавить спрайт персонажа на фон и что б кружки появлялись где-то на его теле, типа вы наносите удары в эти части.
Либо сделать несколько фаз в боёвке и это будет только одна из них.

You could do both modes, and everyone chooses the one they like best. Otherwise, generate a poll and the majority will decide. PS: I am for the "boring" mode.
