긴장의 필요성
🕑 Added 2019-09-02 14:27:56 +0000 UTC노는건 즐겁지만 우리는 무엇이든 빠르게 익숙해지기 때문에 놀지 않는 시간과의 긴장감이 필요하다. 매일 자고싶을때까지 자다가 늦게 일어나도 되는 일상을 살다보면 그게 얼마나 짜릿한 일인지 알 수 없다. 억지로 억지로 떠지지도 않는 눈을 비비고 떠가며 하루를 강제시작 하다가 토요일,일요일에 늦잠을 잘 때 그 때가 최고의 선물인 것이다. 나는 요즘은 느끼지 못하는 경우지만, 정해진 기상,등교시간이 있다가 없을 때 깜짝 놀라며 “늦잠이다!” 하고 깜짝놀란채 경끼하며 일어났다가 “아맞다 오늘 휴일이지” 하며 다시 포근한 이불로 파고들 때 그 쾌감... 최고지 않는가.
그런 의미에서 휴일은 최선을 다해 빈둥빈둥 거리지만 일하기로 마음먹은 날에는 기상시간을 정해 일어나고 있다. 조금 더 잔다고 뭐라고 할 엄마도 상사도 없지만 스스로 일어날 때 뿌듯하고 개운한 느낌이 든다. 그렇게 일을 해야 다시 쉬는 날이 돌아왔을 때 찝찝함이나 죄책감 없이 마음껏 바닥과 소파와 한몸이 되어 빈둥거릴 수 있는 것이다.
올해가 끝나기까지는 스스로 조금 더 긴장하는 생활을 했으면 하고 바라본다. 나처럼 게으른 사람을 긴장하게 하는 건 오로지 나의 구독자, 내 컨텐츠를 기다려주는 사람들의 기대와 믿음이다. 그리고 사실 이 기대와 믿음은 너무 쉽게 저버리기 쉽지 않은가. 우리는 갑을관계가 아니니까. 규칙치고는 느슨해지기 쉽다. 그래서 다시 한번 바라본다. 스스로에게 구체적 목표를 주고 하루 하루 달성하며, 지금 받는 사랑이 그 어떤 회사의 규율보다도 엄격한 것일 수 있다는, 그 무게를 잊지 않는 생활을 하면 좋겠다고.

Yes, finding motivation is key for freelancers. I like the idea of the alarm (do I have a deja-vu or was this discussed in a previous livestream chat? I think you couldn't join that day). Does it have to be a new reward, though? Probably the monthly voicemail could be requested to be an alarm? I also like the idea of recording an alarm for Eunzel, but I doubt she would like to wake up to my voice + heavy metal music. But it would be a perfect motivation to get up and mute the alarm ^^ Speaking of heavy metal, who wants to see Eunzel do the headbanging in a future livestream, similar to what she did with the P-P-P-P-Ponytail song last month? For the music, ド・キ・ド・キ☆モーニング by Babymetal sounds about right, but it will probably kill the VOD audio... If anybody googles this be warned, LOUD music, definitely not relaxing^^

I'm not sure if the translation was accurate, did I understand correctly that you need some stress or tension to stay motivated, and the feedback and love from your subscribers gives you this motivation or stress? I agree with what toy said. Everything in good measure. A reasonable amount of stress is a good motivator, but too much will be harmful. Even as a freelancer, maybe you could set 1 or 2 days each week where you allow yourself to sleep in. The advantage of the freelancer is that you can choose these days flexible each week.

We should do something, you give us, to your Zellies, a custom wake up alarm type of message and we send you the same thing so you can switch. Something like " WAKE UP EUNZEL !!! , today you should work for your book ! THERE IS NO GIVING UP " and we add some hardrock also... :P No but that wake up alarm thing from you is a must have ! What do you guys think ? Should we ask her to add this reward after a certain amount of monthly supporting !? Something, starting slow with ASMR whispering, then goes to soft voice, then a lullaby ? Awwww Anyway, that's what makes a good freelancer right ? If you can stay focused and disciplined.

it is a holiday here in the US lol there's no classes and some people don't work. also stress is good when it is a certain amount, just don't overdo it with stress because then it gets bad 😨
