🕑 Added 2020-04-28 14:06:26 +0000 UTC이사 잔짐정리를 남겨두고 큰 짐들은 정리를 마쳤다. 인터넷이 없는 동안 뭘하나 걱정했지만 쓸데없는 걱정이었다. 정리하느라 하루종일 서서 움직이느리 다리가 뻐근할 지경이다. 이 집에서는 큰 문제 없이 2년간 살 수 있을까?? 이사는 이제 지긋지긋하다... 작년 말부터 지금까지 너무 많은 에너지를 집에 쏟아서 더는 체력도 정신력도 남지 않은 것 같다. 적어도 올해 만큼이라도 이사는 이제 그만이길...
병원에 전화를 했다. 그간 코로나에 이사에 미뤄왔던 진료를 예약하기 위해서다. 갑상선 물혹에 물이 가득 차서 이제는 목 아래가 보기 흉할 정도로 튀어나왔다. 그런데 이런... 가장 빠른 진료 예약일이 5월 말이라니! 대학병원이란. 그날로 진료 예약을 하고 엄마에게 전화를 걸었다. 병원에 같이 가주기 위해 엄마가 날짜에 맞춰 휴가를 내고 올라오기로 했다. 이모는 조조를 봐줘야 하니까 이번에도 예전처럼 엄마가 동행해주기로 했다. 시술 후에 혼자 귀가하는 건 어려움이 있어서 꼭 보호자와 동행을 해야 한다.
목에서 물을 빼는건 그래도 참을만하지만 에탄올 주입 시술은 정말 정말 고통스러웠는데... 벌써부터 두렵다. 여전히 악성이 아닌 양성 혹이겠지...? 혹시나 하는 마음에 떨리기도 하고. 기왕 병원 가야하는거 그냥 미리 미리 예약해서 5월 연휴 끝날때즈음 병원도 다 다녀올 수 있으면 좋으련만. 성격도 급하면서 이건 왜 더 미리 미리 전화해서 예약하지 못했을까 아쉽다.

End of May sounds like a long time at first sight. But time flies. May already starts this week, in 3 days. Actually it's quite an early appointment, for some treatments one must wait many months where I live. As long as it's not painful or obstructing speaking and eating there's no reason to be impatient. If it starts to hurt, you can always go to the hospital as an emergency patient, then you'll get immediate treatment.

I also hope the new house is much better. The thyroid issue doesn't sound very pleasant but I'm surprised they're waiting so long to treat you. It probably wouldn't hurt to see if you can get it done sooner so you can feel better
I remember you wrote about the thyroid problems a couple of months ago? I really hope the pain doesn't get much worse over time. Don't worry too much, you've just moved recently. Try to relax and get plenty of rest. Hang in there ❤

Dang, does your neck hurt now? I hope it won't worsen by the time you get the treatment. Until you get to the hospital it doesn't help worrying about the treatment. Worrying just drains more energy. Try to relax in your new home now.
