동생이 그렇게 말했었지만 그래도 신경이 쓰이긴 한다. 태어나길 저혈압으로 태어나는 건 이해가 되는데 나이가 들면 자연히 고혈압으로 바뀌는건가? 왜지? 저혈압은 혈관에 탄력이 없는거 아닌가? 그러면 자연히 고혈압으로 바뀔 수는 없을 것 같고 혈관에 찌꺼지가 많이 쌓이거나 피가 끈적해져야 할텐데 그런건 생활습관으로 피할 수 있는건 아닌건가?
잘 모르겠지만 동생의 말대로 언젠가는 나도 고혈압이 생길지도 모른다. 우리 엄마는 날씬한데도 어느 순간 고혈압이 생겨서 약을 먹고 있다. 외할머니도 고혈압으로 갑자기 돌아가셨었고 외할머니의 어머니도 고혈압이 있으셨던 기억이 있었다고 했다. 그런데 엄마랑 자매관계인 이모는 아직 혈압이 정상인데. 딱히 엄마의 어떤 식습관이나 생활습관이 문제인지도 잘 모르겠다. 아빠도 고혈압이 있다. 그런데 아빠는 왜 있는지 좀 알 것만 같은... 체형은 정상이지만 음식의 간을 세게 먹는 편이다. 밥먹을 때 김치도 왕~창 먹고 찌개도 많~이 먹는 전형적인 한국인.
언젠가는 어차피 혈압이 높아질테니 지금 저혈압인건 신경쓰지 않으려고 한다 하더라두... 최고혈압 82 최저혈압 45 맥박수 75. 매번 이렇게 나오지만 매번 느낀다. 이건 좀 너무 낮은건 아닌걸까나.

Hm, 82 / 45 seems a bit low indeed. Maybe take a cold shower so the vessels will tighten, rising the blood pressure :D The reason for higher blood pressure at higher age is the blood vessels becomming thinner when stuff (fat etc.) is accumulating on the walls. In the worst case it becomes clogged completely, which is most likely to happen in the finest blood vessels, either in the brain (resulting in a stroke) or in the heart (heart attack). Eating healthy and low-fat can reduce the accumulation of fat on the vessel walls, keeping the diameter large, so it greatly reduces the risk of high blood pressure, a stroke or a heart attack. Drinking plenty to keep the blood more liquid helps as well.

i think diet is a big way to avoid these issues as you get older. talking to a doctor that specializes in that can be a good way to learn what foods are best to eat and what you should eat less of. but from what i've seen, people with all sorts of health issues outlive people with healthy bodies pretty often so i decided to try and be healthy but also not deny myself foods that make me happy haha

언니 저 소름돋았어요ㅋㅋㅋ 저 지금 폐검사하러 호흡기 내과 와서 혈압쟀는데 최고혈압 76이여서 그것도 여쭤보고 막 나왔는데 바로 혈압 관련해서 땋 일기가 올라와서!🤭😮ㅎㅎ 저도 평소 저혈압인데 의사선생님께서 80대 정도면 낮긴해도 괜찮다도 하셨어요:) 저도 오늘은 70대는 처음이라 놀랐는데 원래 계속 낮게 나왔으면 지금 당장 큰걱정은 말라고 하시네요! 저혈압이라 학생때부터 헌혈 하고싶어도 못하는것만 전 좀 슬퍼요🥺
