🕑 Added 2020-06-16 13:13:57 +0000 UTC앞 차로 외제차를 만나게 되면 한껏 조심하게 되는 나를 발견한다. 특히 포르쉐를 만날때가 그렇다. 그럴 때는 차간 거리도 더 신경쓰게 되는데 이런 반응은 본능적으로 이루어진다.
운전하기 전에는 차 욕심이 전혀 조금도 없었고 “차는 안전하면 그만이지~!” 라고 생각했었다. 막상 실제로 도로위에 나와보니 안전한 차는 단지 내구성이 좋아 안전한 것만을 고려할 건 아닌 것 같다. 도로위 무법자들도 외제차를 보면 잠시 얌전해지니까 간접적 영향으로 더 안전해지니까. 차체도 튼튼하겠지만 엠블럼의 간접적 효과 이거 무시 못한다...
모두에게나 드림카가 있다. 내게는 테슬라가 드림카다. 차를 타고 가면서 운전하지 않고 영화를 보거나 한숨 푹 잘 수 있는 것, 넓게 디자인 된 창을 통해 하늘을 올려다보며 갈 수 있는 것, 캬... 얼마나 좋을까! 너무너무 행복할 것 같다. 지금 타고 있는 셀토스도 반자율주행기능때문에 구매했던 것인데, 확실히 이 기능이 있는 게 엄청나게 편하긴 하다. 물론 이 기능을 켰다고 핸들을 놓고 가다가는 10초만에 사고가 날 것이햐..!
5년정도 지나면 국산차도 테슬라급의 자율주행기능을 가진 모델이 나올 수 있을까? 다음 차는 자율주행 전기차로 타는게 꿈인데... 테슬라는 너무 비싸단 말이양.

I heard that Tesla's autopilot is still the best level of AI driving! There're some Korean Youtubers who drives Model S and they said it's AI driving is another level compared to other Korean cars like mine???

Don't be fooled. Tesla calls it "Autopilot", but you're still required to take over the steering wheel within a few seconds if the computer runs into some unexpected situation. Also there were several heavy accidents where the Tesla Autopilot misjudged things and kept speeding at an obstacle. I don't think that truly reliable car autopilots will be available before another 10 years minimum, and if you're looking for an affordable one, it may well be 20 years. But you can already travel with your hands off the steering wheel today. Just go by train, bus or taxi. ㅋㅋ

You can hire a driver fulltime too. It's classy aswell. He can hold the door and carry your bag and all, and when you will arrive somewhere, everyone will look at you like "Is she an idol ? Who is this girl !?". :D :D
