🕑 Added 2020-08-18 14:34:27 +0000 UTC입마개가 드디어 왔다. 마침 업체가 휴가중이어서 주문하고 일주일이나 지나서 받았다.
조조가 이유없이 짖는다 싶을때마다 10초씩 입마개를 씌워보고 있다. 기분나빠 하는 것 같아서 정말 헛짖음이다 싶을 때만 씌우고 있는데ㅎㅎㅎ 그래도 좀 효과가 있는 듯하다. 원래는 “조용히해! 짖지마!” 하면 더 심하게 짖었는데 이제는 조용히 입마개를 가져와서 씌우면 되니까. 진작 살걸 그랬다.
잠깐 잠깐만 씌우다보니 사진 찍을 겨를이 없었다 ㅎㅎ 다음번에 헛짖음하면 씌우고 얼른 사진 찍어서 올려야지.

JoJo doesn't have to wear the mask outside! It's for inside when he barks too much without any specific reason :D ! For punishing him for 10 seconds

I think applying the muzzle hurts you more than it hurts Jojo, but unfortunately it requires a bit of education and training in the form of treats for good behaviour and punishment for wrong behaviour. This way Jojo will grow into a well behaved big boy. The more immediate and consequent you apply the muzzle whenever he misbehaves, the quicker he'll learn which behaviour to avoid. If you give him a little treat and a few pats each time he doesn't bark in a situation where he used to bark previously, you can amplify the effect even further. Positive reinforcement is even more powerful, as it shows him you still love him and that you don't want to hurt him by applying the muzzle.

Isn't it confusing for him to see his mom with a mask outside ? Well now he has one too. Kinda. >< I'm wondering what he think sometimes, things like "How come she has the right to sing in the house so often and i can't !? That's unfair, she just don't get the lyrics ! That's not barking that's Dog Rap." :D
