🕑 Added 2019-11-04 15:48:00 +0000 UTC유튜버들의 사건사고가 끊이지 않는 가운데, 좋을 때는 마치 베스트 프렌드인 마냥 ‘친한 척’ 을 하다가 상황이 조금 나빠지니 칼같이 ‘손절’ 해버린 사건을 보는 마음이 영 씁쓸하다. 인터넷 방송을 시작한 이후로 유독 소위 말하는 ‘잘나가는’ 사람들 덕을 보려고 비굴하게 친한 척 하는 사람들을 많이 보게 된다. 이 바닥이 다 그런거다 라고 하기에는, 그렇지 않은 사람들도 많다. 자기 길을 천천히 묵묵히 가고 굳건한 팬덤을 만드는 사람들도 많이 있다. 내가 좋아하는 유튜버나 스트리머들도 그런 사람들이고.
처음부터 그 사람의 내면이 어떤 사람인지, 어떤 생각을 바탕으로 어떤 말을 하는 사람인지를 보고 가까워진다면, 설령 그 사람을 둘러싼 큰 사건이 벌어진다 하더라도 여론에 휩쓸리거나 여론을 두려워하기보다 자기 소신대로 판단할 수 있을텐데. 서로의 껍데기만 보고 급격하게 의욕만 앞서면 이렇게나 씁쓸한 결과가 생긴다. 자기 혼자의 문제로 사건이 생겨도 너무나 힘들고 괴로운 법인데...(이건 프로 악플받이인 내가 잘 알지...) 다른 사람과의 문제로 사건이 생기고 서로에게 책임을 넘기고 비난하는 것은 얼마나 힘들까. 기회주의자와의 얕은 우정은 서로에게 큰 상처로 남겠지 아마.
역시... 오늘도 깨닫는다. 친구 없는게 짱이야...! (?!)

I can't add much to what toy and Tenshi said. You only realize who are your true friends, once you are in a bad situation. The ones who will stick with you then, are very good candidates :) So even bad situations have an advantage after all, acting as a "friends filter".

But it goes both way i think, not so long ago i've read about that thing with the Afreeca BJ Seoyoon. She stated on youtube how she was pretending to be single for years and even telling lies about a sexual assault that never happend just to get more donations, by greed. She eventualy admited the whole thing during a "Yes or No" quizz game while she was live, and burst in tears. She left Afreeca for months. I've read she is back now and she have to deal with this. My point is, there will always be people who can do anything and everything by greed. It's up to us to carefuly select the one who deserve our trust. And apply this saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice ? Shame on me."

Some people only want to be somewhere if it benefits them in some way. You have to pay attention to what people want to be around you only when something good is happening to you and what people are there no matter what. That's how you can find the people who will be good friends and not someone who will try to take what they can from you.
