코 상처 경과 보고
🕑 Added 2019-11-29 13:41:28 +0000 UTC조조가 긁어놓은 코는 이제 많이 회복되었다. 코 아래쪽 얕고 길게 파였던 자국은 붉은끼는 완전히 사라지고 꼭 눈 위의 발자국처럼 그저 파인채 남아 있다. 이 자국을 새살이 올라와서 채워줘야 할텐데 그건 두고봐야 할 듯하다. 완벽히 새살이 차는데까지는 며칠이나 더 걸릴까...? 메이크업을 하면 전혀 티가 나지 않을 정도이긴 하지만 혹시나 파인 곳에 메이크업 이물질이 끼고 새살 재생에 방해가 될까봐 여전히 코 부위에는 감히 직접 메이크업을 하지는 못하고 재생테이프를 붙이고 있다.
문제는 눈 옆 이다. 상처가 시작되는 곳이자 가장 깊게 파여서 피부과 선생님들이 우려를 표했던 그 곳은 여전히 붉은끼도 있고 살도 이미 튀어나와 있다. 튀어 나온 살이 들어갈 것 같지는 않은데 그럼 이대로 붉은끼만 사라지면서 튀어나온 흉터가 되는걸까? 그럼 나중에 레이저 같은걸로 지져서 높이를 맞추는 시술을 받아야 하는건가? 어쨌든 여기도 좀 더 시간이 필요할 듯하다.
그래도 상처가 아예 덜 아물어서 통증이나 감염 우려때문에 물도 닿지 않게 하려던 지난주와 달리, 이번주부터는 세안도 자유롭게 하고 따뜻한 물에 목욕도 할 수 있어서 일상 생활에 큰 불편함은 없었다. 몸이 차서 뜨끈~한 목욕시간을 사랑하는 나에게는 지난주가 참 힘들었다. 근무 후 하루의 힐링타임을 잃어버린 기분이었달까? 그걸 이번주는 되찾았으니 그것만으로도 회복에 있어 큰 성과였다 하하.
참고: 12월 6일 금요일 영등포 무중력지대 라는 곳에서 청년과미래가 주관하는 1인 미디어 육성 페스티벌에 참여하게 되었습니다. 오후 6시부터 시작하는 이벤트이고 저는 6:30-8:00 한시간 반정도 강연,질의응답 겸 여러분을 만나 인사하는 시간을 가지려 합니다. 인원 제한은 없지만 참고로 좌석은 30개정도 준비될 것 같아요. 너무 많이 준비 했다가 텅텅 비면 민망할까봐 30개로 ㅎㅎㅎ 오신분들 인사드리고 하면 한 8:30까지 있을 것 같네요 아마도. 강연은 1인 미디어에 관심있는 분들이 제게 듣고 싶은 질문에 대한 답변으로 꾸리려 해서 내일즈음 유튭 커뮤니티에 공지를 남기려 하는데, 혹시 여러분도 질문이 있을까요? :) 홀홀.

That's awesome! It's good to let it heal before putting make up again. Might take another week, but that's nothing compared to having a scratch there for the rest of your life lol. All the best to the December event, too!

Glad to hear the wound is healing well, but also glad to hear you're listening to the good advice not to put makeup onto it yet. From what I saw on the photo last week there is a very good chance that the more deeply damaged spot close to the eye will heal well enough to cover any remains with a little bit of makeup, IF you give it some more time before attempting to do that. But let's for a moment assume the worst, that it wouldn't heal very evenly by itself. Even in this case, the laser therapy can always be done at a later time. I read up a bit about that and it's not required at all (and not even recommended) to do it while the wound heals. Instead, it can always be done later, so you don't risk anything by just waiting how it turns out by itself. It also said that wound scars are substantially different from acne scars. Acne scars leave inward dents, because the body can't produce enough tissue to fill them all. Wound scars on the other hand are much more likely to produce an outward bulge (too much tissue), thus it's much easier to treat. Carefully removing some tissue with a laser is no problem, remember they even do eye surgery this way these days, so it's very precise and gentle. So you see, you have nothing to worry: it's a very small piece of the wound that is deep, you don't risk anything by giving it time and even in the worst case it should be easy to treat. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be fully closed before it gets too frosty outside.
