🕑 Added 2020-02-20 15:17:26 +0000 UTC코로나19 확진자가 급증하면서 엄마는 부쩍 내 걱정이 많아졌다. 내가 어렸을때부터 기관지가 유난히 약했기 때문이다. 실은, 집에서 일하는 나보다는, 백화점에서 많은 사람들을 상대해야 하는 엄마가 더 조심해야할텐데 내가 그렇게나 걱정이 되는 모양이다. 상하지 않는 생필품이나 물은 미리 많이 사서 쟁여두라고 하질 않나. 뭐야... 그건 꼭 영화에서나 보던 무서운 상황에서나 필요한 행동같잖아. 하지만 필요하다면 해야지. 내가 이사를 코앞에 두지만 않았다면 진작 그렇게 했을지도.
누군가는 코로나19는 그저 조금 심한 감기일 뿐인데 공포마케팅의 일환에서 위험을 과장하고 있다고 하기도 하더라. 그런데 나는 그 말은 좀 이해가 되지 않는다. 없는 바이러스를 있는 것으로 거짓말하는 거라면 공포마케팅이라고 할 수 있겠지만, 지금 뉴스에 보도되는 수치조차 다 조작된 것이 아니라면, 어쨌든 바이러스는 존재하는거고 감염된 사람도 사망자도 존재하는 거잖아. 1명이 죽었어도 그 사람의 인생은 그 바이러스때문에 끝나게 된건데... 그걸 조심하라고 더 강조하는 것이 누군가가 이득을 취하기 위한 공포마케팅이라고 하는 건 글쎄. 조금 심한 감기라고 하기에는 무리가 있지 않을까? 특히, 돌아가신 우한의 의사분은 조금 심한 감기에 생을 마감하기에는 너무 젊었다. 마음 아플 정도로.
지나칠 정도로 조심해서 나쁠게 없다면 그렇게 하는게 좋겠지. 괜한 쿨병에 마스크도 청결도 신경쓰지 않고 돌아다니다가 걸리는 것보다는 백배 낫지. 내가 느끼기에는, 설령 누군가가 지금 이익을 챙기고 있다고 하더라도 이건 어쩔 수 없는 상황 아닌가 싶다. 어쩔 수 없는걸. 그래, 공포마케팅에는 정말 당해낼 재간이 없다.
가능만 하다면, 정말 오바 쎄바 쓰레빠 뇌절해서 내가 아끼는 모든 사람들이 집밖으로 한발자국도 안나가도 되면 좋겠어.

모든 일에는 장단점이 있겠죠. 사스 때였나.. 요식업 매출이 40% 감소했다는 통계를 들은적이 있어요. 뭘 얻고 뭘 잃는데 어떤걸 택해야되냐가 항상 문제인거 같아요

In France, some "smart ass" are comparing the Corona with the seasonal flu, they are like: "look, the flu is killing more people every year, this is no big deal" and they show some statistics. Thing is... the stats show the result per year, not few months, and no government ever put cities in quarantine for the seasonal flu... nor stoped air traffic, nobody wear biohazard suits for this flu either. The seasonal flu is left unchecked and most country in the world got it. These people just don't get it, it happened in one of the richest country in the world, and this country is not a democracy, when they do things, they act fast... really fast. They are doing their best and help has arrived from all over the world but still, many people have died so far. So what if it reach massively country like India ? Or some in Africa ? Then it will be really out of control and even more terrible. I think, we musn't give in to fear, but still, take it seriously and be careful. Don't underestimate the danger. Because i'm far away i'm less affected but i fear for the people i know who live close to it. :/ So yeah, please stay safe and be careful dear Eunzel. Same thing for all the Zellies who are nearby danger zone.
