Spring has always been my favorite season. It's when you start to hear the birds chirping and you see the sun shining bright in the mornings. I love it. It is also a perfect time to start doing physical activities outside. 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️🤸‍♂️🕺

My joy of spring is a bit spoiled by allergies, but I just love the look of cherry blossoms. Those effected by a Corona lockdown can still enjoy the look and the warm breeze from a garden, a balcony or even a window - or on the way to the supermarket etc. It's inconvenient to stay at home mostly, but remember this: Many of our grandparents or great-grandparents had to go to war. We only have to stay home for a few weeks. I think we'll all manage to do that. And then of course there are those who can't stay at home or work in home office, like medical staff, maintenance workers (power plants, water and natural gas distribution etc.), supermarket staff and all of public service (be it police, fire dept, garbage collection, public transport etc), who still need to keep the infrastructure running. These people are working extra shifts and overtime to no end and I bet many of those wish they could actually stay at home for a while... Here's some inspiration for those with cabin fever: In the 17th century, the most groundbreaking discoveries by Sir Isaac Newton and many Shakespeare plays were made when these 2 gentlemen were in quarantine because of the plague. I wonder which useful inventions humankind will make this time around, with the extra time at hand...
