Ok, in that case I am going to suggest couple interesting anime series outside mainstream reactions. 1. Saint Seiya - the original from 80's + OVA final Arc (NOT the Netflix version, which is horrible). It has 125 episodes total I think. It is action shounen inspired by Greek and another mythology. It follows group young orphans, who were raised since childhood to become warriors for goddess Athena. According to the legends their fist can split air and their kicks split earth open. Super popular in Spanish speaking countries. It had epic battles, crazy powers and interesting characters. 2. Uchuusenkan Yamato 2199 / Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 - 25 episodes, very good remake of old sci-fi series. In future Earth is under attack from unknown hostile alien race and Earth is not winning. Yamato project is the last hope for Earth and all mankind. The opening is one of the most memorable. There is even live action movie, which is quite good until one watches the animated series. 3. Slayers - 90's fantasy action, adventure anime series follows adventures of Lina Inverse. The series can be at the times very serious and at certain times almost parody. It has lot of seasons, but the 1st-3rd are imho the best.
