This episode is pure peak, Igris is no pushover! Jinwoo is really being put to the test here just to get a job. Igris really threw down his sword because he was telling Jinwoo that he didn't need it to beat him and he pretty much thrashed Jinwoo, it wasn't even close. If Jinwoo didn't play opossum then he would have definitely died

One has to appreciate to fact that the armor actually works as intended. It protects wearer from slashing and stabbing. Against armored enemies blunt weapons such as mace, hammer is more effective.
