Ohh wow that is so true! I never linked the 2 words 😆 that makes sense since he's a liar 😂 but he is very kind too i like him 🥹 it was painful watching him in these episodes when no one believed him the poor guy, but he kind of brought it upon himself 😭

Fun fact: Usopp’s name might come from the Japanese word for Lie(Uso), so when he says «ore wa Usopp» it could be read as «I am Usopp» or «I am a lie» 😂 It can also be inspired by an Ancient Greek fabulist(story writer), who’s best known fable is «the boy who cried wolf». Very similar to Usopp’s debut, yelling about pirates that weren’t there
